This is Kevin with the white mk2 gti. Myself and at least Harley (black mkv gti) will be heading back Monday. No plans on when though. Pretty much when we feel ready to leave. Probably after lunch.

I remember sorry for the late reply had some crap come up on base and turns out I might be getting out soon.

. I have been working alot on my vr I need to do a few more things it needs a new ignition switch, windshield, paint but it is now a Getta got the GTI front end with the dual chamber lights easy mod too.

Yes, when is the next meet. I've been in Monterey for 3 months and have a seen a few modded dubs here and there. I can walk to the Sand City starbucks (but I'll drive, of course).

I cruised by on saturday as I had some errands to run at target, and all I found was 3 cop cars and some guy selling paintings out of his old 80s brown dodge rape van lol

My buddy Alex is also putting on this meet at the Salinas BJ's at 1:30 on Saturday. I'm gonna head out to show some support and have a few good pints. Open invitation, its the 1st one of these meets, but I've been on his very successful Concours' Rallies the past few years. There are usually some pretty serious cars there too...

I think 91 is all you get around here unless you want to drive out to laguna seca and pay out the nose for 96 or 100 octane.

Had a homecooked meal with cornbread and beer waiting for me at home, and I'm trying to drive easy until I'm sure my camshaft position sensor CEL isn't going to come back. I met Gustavo as everyone was leaving. Will try to make the next one.

BTW, I have the Ross-Tech software and KEY-USB connector. If anyone wants me to bring it, let me know.
