Is there a caravan from San Jose to Monterey this Saturday for the ske meet?
If so is it from the same location as the last one listed above.

Bump for this Saturday @ 6:45pm!
The historic races are in town..lots of car buzz around Laguna Seca and downtown Monterey. Likely one of the best weekends of the year to be in Monterey. Hope to see all the familiar faces, and some new ones as well!

OK who's all going to the SKE meet this next weekend Saturday September 1st??? From San Jose Ca or anywhere else in the east north or west bay that have to come through San Jose to get there.
We should get a caravan going!!!
#5314
Hey bud, I will for sure be going this coming meet. Text my cell and we can arrange a meetup! Probably leave San Jose at 6!![]()
BTW to anyone who doesn't normally come to an SKE meet. This coming weekend will be one NOT to miss! I will be arranging SKE's Annual Scavenger hunt festivities! So Don't miss out!!!

If you plan to attend the scavenger hunt, PLEASE remember to bring a device for photo's/video. Typically an iPhone will do just fine, but without the digital proof for the tasks required there will be no points awarded to your team!

Bump for tonight! - 7pm - Our departure from regular meet location should be estimated between 7:45 and 8pm. Please make sure you are present before that time.
Food/Activity Destination: A cruise down to Cannery Row seems like the legit thing to do tonight; Cannery Row will be completely closed down for the Cherry's Jubilee show & shine, and there are plenty of eateries in the area to accommodate even the most discerning of foodiphiles. Anyone have any input on this?
Parking: Plenty of traffic down there means parking off the beaten path. I've thought about either the Coast Guard pier or the park right next to it...anyone have any input? Parking here is free although there is a 1/2mi walk to get to the festivities. We may also be able to park at the Tin Cannery, not sure if they're going to be packed or not. Keeping the group together is important here.
Bring FRS radios if you have them.
