I know someone has got to be familiar w/ this. They said it was a deca cocktail and it was suppose to help

Did he give me an anabolic steroid or is this something else?

Tried googling but couldn't come up w/ anything under 'deca shot for ear infection' or similar.

EDIT: He also gave me ephedrine...is my doctor trying to make me jacked?

Serioulsy though, I'm just curious and not too knowledgeable on steroids

'deca' is a brand name/slang name for the compound nandrolone

nandrolone is sometimes used for positive medical purposes, but the doses are low enough you wouldn't see any gains or anything from it, plus, the side effects of useful deca amounts are pretty severe and sometimes not worth the gains (imo)

either way, I don't even know if this is what he actually gave you. trust me when I say that the even if it was, you should hope you aren't prone to any of the extremely negative sides of deca.

gave you ephedrine, like a perscription ? or like a pill ?

are you congested ? maybe he gave it to you to help clear you up - the only way you can get it now is if you get bronkaid or similar from the pharmacy

This is my second shot w/in the last couple of weeks. The ear infection went away and came back. The first one I didn't have any problems (AFAIK).

I was mainly curious about it being used for an ear infection. I wasn't aware that they were. I thought they were mainly for joint/muscular type injuries. I'll try to find out exactly what was in the shot.

deca lifespan in your body is about 2 weeks.

either way, LOW doses of deca (used for gaining muscle) would be around 300mg/wk

you're probably getting 50mg/2weeks so, you probably won't notice anything. good or bad.

and this is all IF you're even getting nandrolone.

perscription...he said "the crap they sell over the counter doesn't work".

From what I understood, he seems to think my ear problem is created by an issue I'm having in my nose/throat. He also gave me flo-nase(sp?).

idk, this place seems pretty liberal w/ presciptions...its one of those 'doc in the box' type places but they are very quick..unlike my Gen. Practicianer(sp?).

lol, the sad thing is that some of those 'doc in the box' type places prescribe pain killers to almost anyone...you can tell which ones are the most popular b/c they have people waiting outside every morning.

It depends on what I ate the previous day. Some times when I have what I think is an ear infection, reduced hearing on one side, it is really just trapped water. A ferocious dump usually causes the pressure to equalize. I would recommend eating a large bag of peanuts in one sitting, & then let us know if that cures the issue with your ear.

I've been given steroidal pills for throat infections. Never thought to look them up though. They are always real low dose, and usually only one or two doses anyway.

They do seem to get the job done though.

Hello, there!! I want to know if hearing problem can occur at teenagers too. My daughter is 19 year old and I think she is imperially having hearing loss and that’s been continuing from 1 month. Should I take her to ENT for hearing loss check up.
