We need to find some curvy roads and go for a drive some Saturday......Hummm maybe we drive towards Wausau.

theres not a lot for curvy roads in wausau, but the road going up the mountain is a great one. just need to take 1 run up it nice and smooth to check for cops then go back down and do a hotlap coming up
if you do setup a cruise please keep me informed, if its anywhere near wausau ill try to head out and meet up with you all of course

Dont really ever come into the regional forums cuz I didnt ever see a EC area thread, but I guess I'll have to check them out more often.

Welcome!
I never saw much action for the Eau Claire area either, thats why I started this thread and kept working to keep it going. Right now there are only a few of us but is starting to take off. We also have been trying to GTG when we can. If you see any threads under the heading "Clear Water Dubs", thats us also.

Speaking of the car show, I know I mentioned to Henry and Scott that I was looking to get a new set of wheels for next spring.....Do either of you remember what I said I wanted?
Well I am doing the "Happy Camper" dance today.

Porsche Phone Dials
I bought them from 16V VW, he lives in Wilkes Barre, PA. This is going to sound absurd but my wife's family is from 30 miles north of there. My mother and father in-law are there for a family reunion this weekend. 16V VW delivered the wheels to my in-laws about an hour ago.
2 15x6 and 2 15x7 staggered rims et23 and et52.3
Again time out for the "Happy Camper" Dance.

Ahhh should have said....No tires, but thats what I wanted, in fact he had the tires removed for me this AM. There was no room in the car for tires also.

I am told they look awesome by my father in-law, but I will not see them in person until late July. I have to go to there house in Iowa to pick them up.

Anybody want to guess the price? Come on give it a try! Guess?

Im having the same kinds of problems but its with a seller. I sent a few pms over the last 4 days and nothing. You think people would be more on top of things if your selling stuff.

Oh and thanks VW LVR for the smooth sale. I got one of the seats torn apart, still not sure what to cover them with...

Here are my 2 ideas of how to cover my seats. Not sure on fabrics, leather, suede or mixed.
Here is the color schemes I P-shopped up.
Black/Tan With this one im thinking, black-leather and tan-suede.

Tan/Black With this one im thinking all suede.

The lower 3/4 of the door cards will be tan suede, and keeping the black suede inserts. With the shift console tan around the outside and black in the middle

tan looks like a secondary color in the car, so id go with the black outers/tan inners on the seats. just my .02

Well the first thing I thought of was tan outside on the seats, because if the insert was black it would not show dirt, or what ever you happen to sit in and not know.
Great look either way.
On another note.....
Scott I know you want to trade your side skirts, but I never asked...Why?
I know everybody has there own "Ideal Look" and my idea for a cool car may not be the next guys but the side skirts look awesome to me.
again just my .02 also.

biggest reason i want to trade skirts = oem gli skirts arent as 'tall' or sit as low as these dubtech skirts, so itd be easier to get a jack under the car if i need to work on it, or get a flat tire on the highway. plus i believe you can fashion up mounts for along the skirt so you dont need to use double sided tape. that way theyre removable and reapplyable with ease if need be.
reason #2 is ive grown into liking the way the gli skirts look more than my dubtech ones.
