I don't know how many of us planed on going. If we could get a head count in here that would be helpful. Unfortunately Lars isn't in the area this year to help with the cruise.

I plan on going as long as the weather doesn't look like rain all day. It was still a real good time last year. We will also have to figure out a plan for if we want to camp out over night, find a motel or sleep in our cars.

Also one other note to mention is the Eau Claire autocross is the day after (Sunday). I would like to do both but I don't think it would be posible. At least not pleasant, as we would either get home late Saturday or have to leave super early Sunday from MKE.

    Open to ideas and segestions.

Glad to hear your pretty devoted on making the autocross.
I was talking to a FWD guy, and evidently it isnt a bad thing to ditch the front sway in FWD car, as many of us RWD guys ditch the rear bar and beef the front

I would like to do both but last year when I drove home that night it was pretty damn late. If we left in the morning we would have to leave at like 5. I think I made it home in about 4 1/2 hours with non stop driving and in the middle of a storm. If we left at 8 maybe we could make it back by midnight.

What time does the autocross start? 9ish I thought?

lol! that does sound quite funny out of context

that photoshop will never come to life though, i'd have to change my username so i'll wait to do something like that on the audi instead

as far as Scooter's goes, i have to be put down for the ever-annoying "maybe". my dad and i usually take a fishing trip up north that day each year but there's talk of calling it off this time. so i'll hopefully know what's up within a week or so.

If you don't go fishing you should go, it is a pretty cool show/cruise.

I would really like to hit up both as well. Henry, it sounds like you'd be a great person to lead this -- I'd be willing to head out at 8 or 9 from Scooter's to make it back late and get a good night's sleep in my own bed versus getting up early as **** from a tent.

Count me as a "yes" though.

Alright. At least I won't be cruising home by my self this time. When I get home I will look into what we did last year. I know we meet up with the people from the cities in the parking lot of Action city.

Does any one have some walkie talkies? We had a few last year and that helped keep the cruise together and a good warning for upcoming cops.

Ill look into it. I think Ill put you guys in straight novice. The street tire stuff is all pretty new to me. I dont think there really is such a thing as street tire/novice.

Glad to see a few of you joining in. You wont regret it.

..Oh, and for those of you who dont want to run...Come take some I can probably get you ON the track. You need to have a spotter though, so there will be two of you on a corner. Plan accordingly.

Got my coolant res in today, its going to the powdercoater tomorrow along with my IC pipes... Doing black on the res but I was thinking of doing orange on my IC pipes but don't know if that would look kinda funny with my car being black and silver... Probably just do everything black...

So I'm busy this weekend but hopefully I'll have my stuff next weekend and get this thing fired up... Getting so damn excited to be rolling in my car again

I think we took 94 down to Madison and meet up with a big group down there. So not really any where close to you. I would say maybe take 29 over to Weasau and head south on 39. 94 and 39 merge down by Madison, but that would mean an extra hour of driving so thats kind of out of the way....

Unless you and anyone else in the Wausau area wanted to take 39 down (about a hour & 45min) and meet us where 94 meets. You will still have plenty of time to cruise with the rest of the group to MKE.

On the route back if we went north up to Oshkosh we could head back from there the same way as DIV. Its only a few mins longer than the way we would take down from Eau Claire.

So this Sunday are we thinking a GTG at my place? Seems like that is going to be the best day weather wise. I can get some stuff to throw on the grill. I would say it would be easiest to bring your own drinks. Any time is cool with me. Maybe around 11?

We can figure out more of a plan for Scooters and the autocross.

For the people who don't know where I live my address is:
4248 125th Street, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729 United States of The Americas
