Drag Day 2009 TMP June 20

I have arranged a VW Drag Day at Toronto Motorsports Park on June 20, the day before the June Jitterbug. I did the same thing back in 2007 and REALLY appreciate the number of water-cooleds that came out for the event. Racing starts at 11am, but I will be at the track for around 10am. This will be an informal, see what it can do, race your buddy kind of thing in conjunction with their regular Test'N'Tune program. I hope to try to park all of us VWs together and maybe have a little bit of a show as well. Tell your friends, and let me know if you plan on coming up!!
I'll look into the pricing (general admittance, racing, etc) as soon as I can and post it up.

I need to see how many cars I can expect, then I can talk to the track mgr about prepping the track. How quick is your car? Slicks or street tires?

It should be into the 11s, I will have some track time before then, but I would like to run some good times. I will be out on slicks.
If we can get some worthy cars to come out, we should have the tracked prepped so we can break some drivetrain parts

Bringing this one back from the dead.
I will attach a flyer as soon as I scan it in. This event is still on, and is printed in the TMP brochure of events and can be found on their website as well.
Look like we will be sharing the track with the Corvette club. Better than the Neon club last time.

LOL That was you. Ha.. I keep it on my nightstand as a trophy. A very costly trophy. I'm putting in my new mechatronics tomorrow preflashed with my HPA DSG software so I should be ready for the 20th. On Monday I'm also getting H2sports solid bearings and possibly non-stock suspension. Should be deep in the 12's this time.
