Sup guys.. kinda new here.. picked up a 2010 Golf TDI a few weeks ago as a daily.. Just on ST coils and picked up a set of Kleeman TS7's...

I'd like to throw a small spacer on the back wheel but I realize I need to get some longer lug bolts.. Is there anywhere local that sells those? Sorry for the noob question, I'm coming from the JDM world and never had to deal with those fuking lug bolts before...

I just got some bolts from ECS tuning for pretty cheap. Don't know of anywhere local.

Ughh... might be a LONGER day for me since we're a software company that provides systems for leisure and attraction companies (Zoos, Waterparks, Museums, Bowling Centers, Boat Tours, etc.) and MOST of our customers a putting in last minute changes to their systems for Memorial Day weekend specials which is increasing out support load.

Now I can stare at Joshy's awesome post all I want!!

P.S. - After I get my card, you are all more than welcomed to require CPR and be resuscitated by me. Have a grabber. Or a stroke.

(Yes, they don't officially certify med students for Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support until you are done w/ basic sciences and ready to hit the hospitals )

What are you tring to do? Are you just tring to pull the motor? If you have a hoist I think it is easier to pull the motor and trans at the same time.

yup pull the motor and trans. I have a hoist I just dont know much about the car and what to unhook next to get it out. I took it apart to get where im at now that was easy. I had the axles to pull still the drivers axle nut is off and beyond that im dumb.

I'm looking for somebody who knows mk1s like the back of their hand and could come over and help me get the rest of the motor and trans out of the bay.

I'll gladly pay in beer of choice and a couple bucks for gas ot whatever

Hahah sorry sh*t, who am I kidding, we've had tons of codes and I've never done CPR. Techs always do it in the ED. I'm getting drugs, pushing drugs, starting lines or charting depending on whose room it is. I told one of the techs to let me do it one day. I think I should have that experience on and real body. Lol maybe one day.

I don't know MK1s but figure anything that is still attatched just unhook or unbolt etc. My problem is I can ususally figure out how to take things apart and most of the time not break things but putting it back together I am lost.

lol that's how I am but at this point there's the easy way to take things apart and there's the hard way or probably the wrong way and ssomebody who knew what they were doing could probably have this out in a hour or two where its taking me days to not break or cut anything

Is the 2.7tt supposed to be God's motor? Cuz if it is, it proves he's not Asian. If he were Asian it would be rock-solid and not break as much.
