FIX-IT ticket in california have increased from $10 to ~$75

so look over your car thoroughly or suffer the consequences, well unless you got some nice tits you can flash the cops to get away with verbal warning.

Are you sure it's $75?. I thought that I heard it was $25 per item on fix-it tickets, as opposed to the old $10 flat fee.

From what I heard. YES, it does. $75. even if you get it signed off.
The money is going to the court system.

Well. I just went to the DMV to get a month extension and it used to be free, now they are charging $50.

That red number that people sticks to their car window is $50.

It looks like the governator is doinf his job terminating with California.

Grats! Yeah, ever since they reopened they've been free.

As for the fix it tickets, I went TODAY to pay for two fixits I had gotten on 1/2/09 and the court clerk told me the story. Increased from $10 to $25. He told me if I really wanted to pay less I could get a court date and see if the judge will reduce fines but seeing that the cop radared me at 50mph in a 35 zone and only gave me a monowiper ticket and cracked windshield ticket, I opted not to temp fate
