The latest April 2009 issue of Automobile Magazine has plenty of Audi content for those perusing the newsstands. This includes an Audi TTS Roadster review (32-33), a Georg Kacher review of the R8 V10 (pp. 40-44), and finally a comparo of the Audi Q5 with chief rivals the Mercedes-Benz GLK and the Volvo XC60.
Spoiler Alert on the comparo (if you hate spoilers, stop reading here...)..... the Q5 wins by a narrow margin. The comparison was done by Kacher in Germany and thus the availability of the Q5 and XC60 which are just now showing up on the market. Cars compared were mainly US spec - Q5 3.2, GLK 350 and XC60 T6. Read the full comparo on pp. 46-51 of the new issue of Automobile.
If you're debating on whether to pick up the issue, we highly recommend it. There's also a feature on the Lamborghini LP560-4 where staff writer Jason Cammisa takes a job with Domino's Pizza and delivers pies in the Gallardo and a Ferrari F430 (pp.52-55).
Last, if you've ever wanted to know what it's like to drive an open-top LMP1 prototype racecar, here's one more reason to pick up this month's issue. No, this isn't a test of the Audi R15 TDI or even the outgoing R10 TDI, but Mark Noordeloos does get two 5-lap sessions at Sebring in the new Acura ARX=01b that'll be squaring off against the R15 later this month at the very same track.

Just read this artible yesterday.
They spent a good amount of the article praising the Volvo XC60 only to pick the Q5 over it by a narrow margin.
Oddly the volvo has the most HP and TQ but weighs the most and ends up with the slowest 0-60 time. The article basically says the Q5 is good in every aspect as a great all around vehicle, and the volvo is a very close 2nd. I just like seeing the GLK get pooped on though. M-B did a pretty bad job at building this one (driving dynamics set aside).

I drove the Volvo XC60 back to back with the Q5 yesterday and there is no comparison. AM was way off on this. The XC60 drives like a larger vehicle and feels like it has a high center. It is reasonably quick, but floats and has now real road feel. The Q5 has much better road feel and is quicker.I pick up my new Q5 tomorrow
