How the hell is it that we're supposed to get EVEN MORE SNOW more than halfway through April? I swear the weather here is more schizophrenic than my ex-wife.

That's what they're saying....10"-20" for metro, higher amounts south and west, if its cold enough. They say the storm totals will be determined by 1-2 degrees. To me, that means we ain't getting jack

Sounds like a couple inches of wet snow.... And to think what some of these TV weathermen get paid to guess.... I picked the wrong carreer.

I'm with you guys - 1-2" - my new policy is to say pretty much the opposite of the weather people.

What tires are you running? My MTRs aren't all that great in the snow. Worse now that the sipping is worn through.
Back a few years ago we crusied around pulling people out of ditches. Being fully locked makes it easier, but I found that my tow strap is a good bit too short.

Well, they upgraded the watch to a warning. They are saying 1-2 feet in downtown and higher amounts just west and south of the city...interesting...

Mine are 35" MTRs and at ~$200 a pop its hard to switch. I think Ill be trying some BFGs next time. We will see. The MTRs are great off road though and thats the point. Just BAD in the ice and snow without sipping.

The big question now is can I get to the JY, pull the parts I need, and get home tommorow before it gets really bad????

firestone destination m/t. they did pretty alright (better than i expected) in the slushy stuff, didnt have to put it in 4wd to get home today, and the roads were def covered with a good inch or two of white slush. best rated m/t on tire-rack too! not very noisy, and i really like the tread pattern. 3

Damn the roads never accumulated over 3" of slush up here. The sun came out about 4 this past afternoon for a half hour or so all the slush melted almost right away. Ahhh looking forward to 60' day today.
