It's the original Corrado G60 front grille badge with the 3 tabs (for fitting it the the grille) and it fits the debadged FK grille exactly as it would on the oe grille. The rear badge is completely different (with no tabs) so it won't just fit to the grille, u would have to glue it on or something

Where can I buy that rain tray?

I need it for LHD Corrado.

SWG (in the UK) is the company that makes that, but from what i've read (on Vortex forums) they are not producing one for LHD Corrados.

Lack of progress, so some pics from a VW meeting a week ago here at Cyprus...Mostly MK5's so no need of showing those ...Only 3 Corrados make it to the meeting, but we def got a lot of attention

Note, that was a whole country meeting, and only 3 C's so u get an idea how rare is the Corrado in my country...

Black VR6 with nice tan leather interior

Dragon Green VR6 (not original one, with a 2.8 engine, but also Porsche seats )

Mine...and the 2 others Ain't mine the nicest one, lol

    Thanks zach

Unfortunately, where i live, most Corrado owners like lairy bodykits, angel eyes, "fart cans", big ice systems etc...I just don't get it

Next week: 1) carbon rear number plate surround and some engine bay parts
    In 3 weeks: 1) finishing the late-spec interior conversion 2)rolled arches, 3) plugging-in the Recaro's
Next month: headliner and sunvisors retrim (black), 2) new tires (prob.195/40/R16)
    2010: 1) RESPRAY (hopefully )

Got bored today, so played around with some carbon-look film...

Did the rad cover, alternator cover and cam belt cover...I know, i know my skills are bad...but i guess the parts look better now than they used to be

Alternator cover (and polished a bit the alternator & the cam cover with my Dremel-lousy job i reckon )

    Rad cover and alternator cover:

    Rad cover close up:

Maybe i'll do the same with some other parts as well...

    Small update:

removed Kamei grille spoiler to try on something new...

    Took off both headlights...
...for some cleaning, because the PO had used a lot of silicon, double-face stickers, etc to attach a eyebrow spoiler or something

Look how much stuff i got out (and yes i also work on my kitchen bench, ):

ps: never mind the different colour bulbs...i just didn't have a same spare at the time so its temporary

Plan was to also take the glass out to clean that a bit(from the inside)...but the PO actually glued the headlight surround with the 2 tabs which were broken so i can't remove the glass

The "new" thing is the hood bra

Stay tuned for facelift model interior conversion coming in 2 weeks hopefully Also rolled arches, new tyre/coilover setup, headliner black retrim coming up.

    some news here ?

Just stockpiling parts for the mo Order the new tyres (as everyone suggested 195/40/16 Pirelli P Zero Neros), waiting them to arrive from abroad since noone had them here
    Installed chrome oil cap,
    8mm BBM red plug wires,
    new coolant bottle and cap,
flush rad system and new fluid added,
installed chrome coil cover and bracket,
removed carbon film from engine bay parts (don't ask why i did that n the first place )
bought a BBM front solid engine mount

    and other stuff i forget

End of the month its fitting time for tyres, balancing etc, spacers, lowering coilovers a bit, rolled arches and new pics

It's been ages and things have been slow (the financial crisis has affected the construction industry here in Cyprus-my line of work- and we've being trying/working very hard these past months to keep my company alive) but finally with the Corrado getting some extensive engine work (pics later-still in progress), I did some small work in my free time...

    Finally smoked ecodes:

    before (taking them apart):

    After:

Also cleaned the bezels and polished the glasses...

Installed the "crown"shaped French-spec bulb caps bases (using the "GermanFolks" instructions it was easy enough):

...and managed to brake the one cap and one headlight adjuster (glued that, ok i guess)

...but thanks for 2 certain Vortex mambers, I already bought some more and next week they're probable here, so getting installed (hopefully )

On another note...no more broken lip spoiler:

After repair pics (there are some metal "pins" installed inside the spoiler for reinforcement so it doesn't brake again, but they are to small for the camera to capture):

tomorrow it gets cleaned and repainted flat black

and I also bought some "educational" toys for when my son is born :

^^those sears are like the ones "DubZak" has, wtf

More pics of other stuff I've done soon...

BBM 8mm red plug wires and chrome oil cap (old pic):

Some more bling - chrome coil cover & bracket:

brand new oem heater tank & cap:

Re-sprayed cambelt, alternator and rad plastic covers:

The DubNutz s/s braided fuel lines (awesome piece of kit ):

    Installed:

    no more leaky fuel hoses

    anti roll bar drop links:

    Chrome expansion tank bracket :

    Stay tuned...

    Thanks
I polished the headlight glasses with a soft cream polishing compound and a rug...

Several stores sell those door pins, nothing special or difficult to source with some search here i reckon

BBM G60 billet alloy front engine mount:

    oem G60 front engine mount:

    oem vs BBM:

    Installed:

Two other mounts are practically new (newish...) and the old front mount bracket seems ok, not cracked or anything. Hope the BBM solid one doesn't cause the bracket to brake...Or maybe I'll reinforce the bracket for be safe

I'm looking forward driving the car anytime soon, so i can see the results of the BBM mount (bad or good...)

Car is looking really good nick. Polish up that valve cover so the chrome oil cap doesn't stick out so much.

You should be able to swap the corrado door handle bits into the passat handles without the striker kit.
