Got the car back from the paintshop (for the final touches after the re-spray).
I can say that I'm happy with the results. Not astonised with his work but the price was really good so no complaints I guess.
The fenderwells were left tornado red afterall...
Some nice photoshoot pics will follow next weekend
Have to thank Keith from DubNutz (aka "CorradoMagic") for the parts. His prices areshipping is fast (and humorous
) and his customer support is expeptional. This is my 2nd purchase from the guy and all I'm saying is that I'm not buying parts from anywhere else in US from now on
(actually next parts order coming soon Keith - this one will be even bigger, get ready
)
Brake rebuilt parts...
...so I can finally rebuilt my G60 brakes (which Chad hook me up with)
yikes:

Some anti-rust stuff:
Primer:
Paint:
Just need to buy rotors, pads and lines so these can go on the car soon
I also refinished my rep-BBSs centre caps (not gonna post pics for the fear of getting flamed). They are temporary, until I can rebuilt my real 3pc Works
New camber bolts (again from Keith)
I've been postponing the coilovers lowering for a while but next Saturday I'm doing it finally (and getting an alignment too)
Let's see if these replacement fuel lines from DubNutz finally solve my leaky fuel hose issue (although the 12mm ABA clamps seem to be very tight fit...I think I'll go with the 13mm ones):
I also relocated the boost gauge wiring according to Shawns and Chads advice, from the FPR vac.line to the 2nd unused nipple behind the TB (next to the 1m ecu vac. line).
Also, send a deposit for one of Jamess (aka "dogger") rear wings, can't wait to get this
Other than that, the wiring in my engine bay is a mess (missing an o2 sensor among other things as many of you know through my other posts here), the psi # of the g-lader are on the low side (need to check for more leaks and replace a few things) and in general I hate the engineBut at least I finally like how the outside and inside look

So, I finally managed to do some work today...
After the new 195/40/16 Toyos, bodywork (pulled fenders) and repaint, my Corrado was sitting way too high for my taste:
4x4 status-not good
Lowered the coils today another 1'' (2,5cm)-somehow better me think![]()
That is the lowest I can go really, after that the 90mm lip spoiler scraps everywhere (and I don't mean only speed bumps etc, but everywhereThere is like less than an inch ground clearance.
Here's a comparison of how it was before:
Way I see it is, since raising it is not an option, I think I'm gonna go with a 50mm lip spoiler (anyone has one fs?). I would love one of Jamess 70mm but money is tight atm with the family epxanding and all and I don't think the wife would approve![]()
Other than that, I also start buying the rest of the stuff for my brake upgrade, which is my next priority to do, along with an external oil cooler and some engine tune-up parts (Keith prepare for another order soon) After the aquired DubNutz rebuilt kit parts, bought also Mintex brake pads and currently trying to figure out which route to go with the rotors and lines (oem or upgrade)
I also bought these from ebay.uk, nice considering they cost me $10
Both sides power windows stop working today (with the drivers side stuck open). Both switches on drivers & pass. side aren't working (no click sound) and the central locking stopped working too at the same timeGotta check that out tomorrow...

Post that pic in the Low Rado Thread!
Hope that back of the car is sitting lower than the front.

German engineering ftw![]()
Who's idea was to put the power windows fuse to that unreachable place (above the relays on the fuse panel, where you have to remove both dr.side parcel shelfs to change) and not where all the other fuses are![]()
Anyway my problem was a blown fuse afterall, everything's ok now
James you know that the one cris posted is a p-chop right?
Mine is like this and today I removed the 90mm lip spoiler until I can find a solution:
Actually the rear is slightly higher than the front...gotta remove the rear helpers if I want to go lower (which I don't btw)

i like this build the only mistake you made is that g60's are to be swapped out of the car, not into the car.

You're full of words lately ain't you.............
On a serious note Chad, you know that I love the whine of the powerful Gbut dammit it gives nothing but troubles lately...

Dammit, I kinda hoped for the "grenade" to explode since I got some low boost reading lately but after fixing some boost/vac leaks the charger seems to be back on spec - 13 psi @ just 5000rpm, which means no VR6/16V swap for now![]()

Some pics from today:
I got to clean/detail the interior...
3'' sump ground clearance is good I guessbut the 90mm lip spoiler unfortunately had to go
Damn, it looks ugly without one...
