Finally installed the following parts I had for a long time (Keith from DubNutz is the man btw):
-TT/R32 control arm bushings
-tie-rod ends
-ball joints
I never thought I'd distrub the alignment while replacing those parts but somehow it did, so I think I urgently need an alignment now (steering wheel is shaking which is weird cause it didn't do it before)
Upgraded my previously 16v 256mm front brakes to 280mm G60 ones (thanks Chad) Brembo vented rotors, Mintex pads - still need s/s braided brake lines tho):
...and black p/s reservoir:
That's all for now![]()

Did you replace the inner tie rods??
The will cause some shaking when they are worn out. Easy to check. Lift a side of the car and try moving the tire side to side. If you feel any play, they side that moves is done. Night mare and a half to change.
Other than that, changing the outer tie rod ends could throw off the alignment, but it won't cause any shaking.
Do you have hubcentric wheels??? If not, make sure you put them in there straight.![]()

Good idea, might do this aswell
Also, forgot to mention that my car was making (again) a "squeeling" sound and under inspection I found out that the belts had developed small cracks. So I replaced the accessories belt and the power steering belt and that fixed it.
This was caused by the fact that car was sitting for 4 months![]()

Feels like a new car after the latest steering/suspension work done
Re-checked the timing today
My buddys MK2 G60 makes my Corrado feel like a 1.4L
And there's something weird going on with my front foglights - they don't work![]()

replaced fog lights fuse (position 10 - 15amp fuse) and as soon as I turn the foglight switch on, its blowing it so there's a short somewhere...
Bulbs are ok, checked wiring and it appears to be good, lenses not cracked so I doubt water could find its way inside there, no moisture...
Maybe its the switch itself?
Looks like I'll have to start checking things with the multimeter - I hate wiring![]()

Tell me about it! My whole driver side is shorted somewhere, tail light (but not the brake light) my fog light, city light, side marker don't work. Only the brake and the headlight. Post if you get to the bottom of it. And where you found the short. ( my front fog light is cracked )

Were your bushings a pain in the a$$ to get in? I'm a little worried about the tie rod ends. I hear they get seized a lot. This shouldn't take long to do but if the tie rods are seized could turn into longer of a time.

Still working on those sidemarkers for you. Second trip to the junkyard but still no dice.

Nick, you needed side markers??? I may have some spares.
