other than the darkness (the sun isn't out as long), i actually like winter. i don't ski or anything like that, but i still enjoy winter almost as much as summer, and in some ways better.

edit: forgot i had fun driving tonight. almost got stuck a few times but pulled through with the winter tires. some areas had several inches of snow (plowed earlier but then left to accumulate for several more hours) by the time i got home a couple of hours ago.

Hey Guys,
I have an 88 scirocco 16v and I want to do the 2.0 16v swap. The block is coming out of the machine shop any day now. My car currently runs like a champ but needs that low end torque. The plan is to swap out my block with the 2.0 16v 9A block and keep the 1.8 16v head. From what I have researched, this project is a plug and go, no modifications needed. I want this done soon, before the spring comes. My current vw mechanic is giving me the run around and has no time. I am looking for an experienced vw mechanic with serious skillz. MK2 knowledge that has done this swap before is a big plus. This is my baby that I waited 15 years to get. I dont want to regret doing this and having the Rocco run like **** or not at all afterwards. Shout me out and we can talk details. I am currently in Dutchess County, Hopewell Jct. I would like to find someone within an hour or so away.

Call billy and Ryan at dynamic automotive in Kingston, ny. All they so is work on vw/Audi. Billy has a mk1 cabby w a vrt in it and Ryan has a mk2 gti vr and a caddy pickup w 1.8t swap. Ud be in great hands. They've helped me out thru out the years w stuff. Good dudes

X3 without having a garage and a semi broke down car i was unable to work on my car during Christmas break from school so i have to wait until summer to fix the little things that need to be done to be able to drive it

think its a girl and i see that jetta all the time. Mostly up near dcc and down near my job on van wagner and the arterial.sooty is usually parked at my job.

sunday Nights 9:30pm Sonic in Wappingers Fall.

So far we have a cruise that leaves from Kingston and New Paltz, and they both meet up at the Hess Gas Station on 9w in Highland at about 915pm and then leave from there to sonic.

Then leaving sonic whenever to head to the marist mcds, and kickball in the home depot parking lot!

This location provides easy access from highways (Route 23, 287, 80, 46, 3) and also offers an Applebee’s and Wendy’s next door for food and restrooms. This is the meet of all meets for the Tri-State area, a one night flash meet (flash mob for cars). We understand that this location may be a haul and attending a Wednesday night meet may be difficult with work/family/school schedules but we can promise you this is one meet you will not want to miss for 2013.
