Just wanted to say hey...I've been out to Cars and Coffee once but not in my 07 GTI, brought my 370Z a few weeks ago before the location changed. I didn't realize there was a large vdub presence here in the low country.

My GTI is currently stock but I'm looking for some wheels first if anyone has a set. Well see ya around!

Closest dynp is shozone... but it's a mustang dyno so its under rated. Also maybe you'll see someone driving around Wednesday.

I forgot I even posted that here. I ended up with 365whp due to a week lp fuel pump. It was running really lean on me.



That's down from the 387whp I made in Jan. I just replace the fuel pump last weekend. I was going to hit up the dyno again but I have to find time. The wife is prego now so I might be selling it for a less aggressive toy.

Does anyone of two 4X100 15" or larger wheels or 5mm+ spacers I can test drive? I am trying to figure out a sporadic steering wheel shake that I am getting at over 70 mph. I am leaving on a trip Wednesday evening. Thanks.

Houpty, I am getting the same steering wheel shake around 60. It may be the new wheels on the caddy, i got them balanced but still same thing. How's the new 5th working out? I forgot to let u try my 15" wheel before i left. Sorry man.

Not sure what is causing the intermittent CC , but i know i can get your 1 touch windows done . .

One thing to check is faults in the central electronics control module, along with the steering wheel control module for faults with the cruise control stalk. Things to check is to pull the upper and lower steering wheel trim panels and check for any shorted ground or frayed wires. If you can pull the faults, that should give you an idea of what things to check.

hey guys, I'm not sure if anyone on here remembers me, but Iive still got a couple friends in charleston, figured id share.

I sold the R!
after putting close to 15k worth of parts into it, making a whole lot of not much NA power, because I'm dumb and didn't just turbo it, i sold it for a huge loss. and couldn't be happier!

it went from stock to dropped with different wheels every month as soon as i got it back in 09:



to this last september:

and now its gone. i replaced it with something faster. i was tired of being slow, having high miles, and dumping money into a car.

so i bought this.

Hey guys I'm up in Columbia but I'm looking to trade my montes with brand new continentals for some 16' OEM steelies with tires. I am willing to drive them to you assuming you have the appropriate hardware for removal. Montes have a slow leak that requires a little air about every 2 week's or so so its not bad at all. Just looking to get them off my car as I'm a steel wheels man

Personally do the headliner yourself with a DIY here on vortex. Very simple so long as you have the fabric. If you prefer someone else to do it get ahold of bluetdi97(james at jk auto).
