The one in the back Cosmo standing up is about 70 and Rowdy starring up is almost 80. They're on the small side for their age as Akitas but they still have a lot of growing left to do.

This is Phoebe. She turns 2 on about 2 weeks from now. We're not 100% certain of her parentage, but we figure she is half Lab, half German Shorthaired Pointer.

She got spayed. She was devastated when I had to leave her with the vet and now she just mopes around banging into stuff with the cone.

Do they only put cones on girls? Yenko didn't get one when he got fixed.

Yea male dogs are super easy. Females have an incision that is stitched. Cone is so she can't lick it and open it up. She'll be all good in 2 weeks though.

Well, we had his dna tested and it turns out he's a complete mutt. He has some german shorthaired pointer which seems to influence the look of his head a lot, and some golden retriever that accounts for the size. Also some german elkhound.

In the end, he's cute and healthy.

Thank you sir! We recently moved and almost shipped the newfie to Seattle to live with my sister. Glad we kept her.
