Both are beautiful! My pup love's to play with the cats. She will literally lick them until the point of mauling them. The cats aren't as thrilled about it as she is. lol.

Wet dog isn't funny or creepy, he's just totally focused on his toy that's about to be thrown.

Is this all dogs must be on leash at the beach universal on the east coast? I would really worry about the dog getting tangled up in that rope while running after or swimming for the toy. We have beaches out here in California where dogs must be leashed but not all or even most of them.

On that topic, another reason to beware of the Federal Government. When the Golden Gate National Recreation Area was formed there was specific language continuing "off leash access" for dogs at certain areas. Lately the Park Service has been breaking those assurances by closing tradionally off leash beaches like Muir Beach with the explanation that "Dogs are never allowed off leash in National Parks". Screw them!

Totally focused is exactly right! you should see him focus on a frisbee as he runs it down at ~60-70yrds.

The rope was the only solution I could think of although 100' is way to long. with the harness and me holding the rope looped in my hand i was able to keep it mostly above his legs, he is also really good about not getting tangled up.

I am not sure how universal it is, I know that at least here in my immediate area(hour north south) its all leash. There is a place on west coast of FL that has a no leash beach and GreenWagen said there is an off leash beach up by Tallahassee.

As much of a free market guy that I am I guess this is one area were I'm glad that we have the Costal Commision limiting building to certain clustered areas. If no one lives there, it's pretty easy to find a beach where no one cares. Especially if you and your dog don't mind a little cliff climbing/descending to get there.

Expenses in F1 have gone down since the 1960s because teams don't need an extra pit crew to help the driver carry around his balls when he is not in the car.

My GTI is just an ego trip with bad gas mileage.

She's a German Shepherd Black Lab mix. Both parents were pure blooded from what I can tell.. For a short while her ears stood up then she grew more and they flopped down like a lab.

We went to meet the newest edition to our family yesterday, and are extremely excited to bring her home on Wed.

Here's the only pic I bothered to snap while we were there for the visit.

I already posted this in the pit thread but here he is again. Great dog, so much personality and so well-behaved. He is a pit/lab mix. We rescued him as a puppy from a fighting ring. they were going to use him as a bait dog. I hope to get a full lab puppy soon so he has a friend.

As a puppy in intensive care. He had bad infections when they chopped his ears, then he got Parvo.

    First night home:

    All grown up:

He was the ringbearer at our wedding.
