You havent even looked under the hood to see that mk2 and mk3 have different style latches or that they are in different locations, or that the radiator/ac condenser is in the way. its a difference in making suggestions and just being a sideline commentator.

I did this with parts laying around. You did this in your mind.

Sacred or not, those single and double-round inserts look lame, IMO. I don't like when there's an obvious outline of what used to be there. I think a MKII style setup (if it can be fabricated) would look much cleaner.

Which is why if you do it right... you switch it ALL up. Reason I haven't even touched this is because I know it's not something that would take a month to do. Doing **** right takes a long time.

Something like these, or the more basic pins? Either way, good luck with the rest of it. Don't let the biters get to ya.

    I think he was deployed.
I still haven't made any progress on my version either. Got sidetracked by a MKII project, which... maybe ironically...does not have single rounds.

I love single rounds, but this particular car is getting only minor/cheap cosmetic upgrades, since it's a low-budget build for HPDE/AutoX/RallyX. If there's time and money left over, maybe.

Did you really just say that if anyone builds a mk2 that you like, you'll buy it from them?! Do it your-fuc-king-self! What the hell is wrong with you? Are you that lazy that you sit around hoping someone does everything to your taste and wants to sell?

I think he's talking about a MKII-look single-round "kit" for a MKIII. As in, if anyone can figure out how to make those photoshops into a reality, he'd be interested in buying such a setup.
