I'm looking for a used V8 S4, but I am finding it difficult to find one in the color/transmission/condition/price range I desire. The ones that I do find usually sell before I have a chance to even speak with someone about the car. I almost had one that I found in texas for a great deal but as I was calling to put a deposit down, he told me it sold the night before Always my luck.

Basically, I'm looking for a 2005.5+ S4 with a 6-speed manual, in either Sprint Blue, Red, or yellow. I'd actually consider a sedan, avant, or cabrio. I would consider other colors but the deal would have to be a near-steal for me to consider another color. It's a shame because it seems more than half the cars are Silver/Gray/Black, and a lot of them are automatic.

Anyhow, I've been searching craigslist region by region but it is so obnoxious to have to search every region for the same car. However, I did notice that there were many cars on craigslist that were not listed on cars.com/autotrader.com.

Is there any way you can search all of craigslist classifieds? I was thinking this would be a great tool but it is not offered. Thanks.

    Pic for clicks:

I'd also consider a B6 S4 (2004-2005) but it'd have to be Nogaro Blue with low miles.

    Google "Crazedlist."

It requires Firefox, just as a fyi (or maybe Opera, but basically not IE).

I like what I see so far, thanks for that link. I'll have to wait till I get home to search on it though because my POS 126-MB ram work computer wants to crash when I use that site.

    Craigslist Reader - Freeware

    http://www.motiont.com/craigslistreader.aspx

I use it and it works well. Allows you to pick what cities, categories, etc.

And got it figured out 3 years ago, too.

I dont understand how people dont realize how old the thread is when some ofthe quotations are in outlined box form instead of the newer transparent box.

Yup. But Searchtempest still works fine.
I love cars, but the problem is they are like schroedinger's hobby. They're always in a quantum superstate of being both awesome and a huge waste of time and money... until observation momentarily forces them into one state or another.

i think autotempest.com searches multiple sources, so that may help

are those conditions or variables ?
