When I purchased my CC last month, the dealer included splash guards as part of the deal. However, their parts guy advised me today they had not ordered them as VW had not released an accessories catalog.

I contacted Paul from the Ask the Salesman Thread and he responded immediately with a link to Bud , who provided me with the following information, again, almost immediately.

"In regards to the Splash guards, they are now readily available from VW. They are sold as front and rear sets, so there are two numbers you will need to have them order.

      3C8-075-111 Front set
      3C8-075-101 Rear set

They retail for $60.00 per set and I will be selling them for $51.00 per set.

Thanks again and good luck to you!!

Thanks to both Paul and Bud for their quick repsonses! Very much appreciated.

      Hi,

Thanks for the information. I order the splash guards last week and is wondering if I can install the splash guards without taking off the wheels?

      Thanks.

Yes you can, but it is probably easier to do with the wheels off.

      Thanks for the quick reply.

Got my 2009 CC 2.0T two weeks ago. Thanks so much for all the great information on the site to make my purchase decision so much easier.

Thanks so much. Is there any drilling required (new holes) to install the splash guards? Do you have any pics of them installed?

The dealer just ordered mine on the 14th. I have not seen a CC with them installed, so I cannot answer your question about drilling.

Hopefully, someone who has them installed will post some pics, so we can see them installed.

I'm curious how they will look on the car. Many manufacturers don't do a good job of creating an integrated look. I would hope they don't clash too much.

Chris, I am like you, that's why I opted for the VW OEM guards. The dealer was going to install "generic" ones (read CHEAP). I held out for the OEM which are molded to fit the body work. I have seen photos, uininstalled, in an ad, and they look pretty well designed.

Went to the dealership tonight to pick up the splash guard. I asked about the installation and was told it would be really hard to put the rear splash guards without taking the wheel off. Decided to have the dealer installed and will try to post some pictures this weekend. I think it looks really good.

Yes, 18's. Ithis size. Makes the CC look much better. I had the dealer install the wheels that come with the 2007 Passat 2.0T Sport!!! Also the same wheels that come with the 2008 Passat 3.6 Sport!!!...

Lassc...thanks for the photos. They look great. I have an appointment next Monday for installation at the dealer. Glad I held out for the OEM part, after seeing your photos.

I like the look. Makes the CC really look "Sporty", not to say that it is not "Sporty", but gives it what I call an "Aggressive" look!!!...

I searched high and wide to find photos of a CC with the guards installed to no avail; however, I did find photos of the guards and knew I would like them right away!!!...

To each his own on this one, I personally wouldnt do it plus I dont think they would work at my current ride height

Yes, they are tinted to 35% which they claim is the darkest legel tint for this area. I sure would not want to have to peel it off for being too dark after spending $175.00!!!

LASSC, was it a free wheel upgrade or did they charge you?

No, unfortunately it was not free. Actually I had a 2007 Passat 2.0T Sport that had the wheels and in order to seal the deal I wanted 18" wheels and they we going to have to order them with the tires, which was quite expensive which would take the price well above what I wanted to pay, so they agreed to allow me to swap wheels from my 2007.

Hey Lassc, The car looks great. I just picked up my new CC (2010 2.0T Lux, Blk/Cornsilk, MDI)

I wanted to know if your car came with the chrome exhuast tips or did you have them put on later. And if it is the latter where did you get them and what was the price?

      Thanks,

      McSmile

Took my splash guards off after delivery. Don't need 'em in Dallas. They are not on eBay
