So, turbo has finally arrived. We are just waiting on Wiseco, to finish our custom forged stroker pistons, to be able to get her back together again.

Its a GT3076R with a billet compressor wheel and a SS Tial exhaust turbine housing. I am running SS exhaust valves. And yes I will agree that this has taken quite a bit out of the pocket book, but its worth it! I've learned a lot throughout the build.

for those of you who are interested in the exhaust manifold, here are some more pics of it. This is also a 2001 S4 6-speed manual trans mated up.

nice are you going to wrap the pipes? they look like they will generate a **** ton of heat.

No wrapping, the manifold is ceramic coated. It does produce quite a bit of heat but all major components which are affected by high temps are protected by multiple heat shielding. Furthermore i am going to be developing new ways of cooling in order to reduce the temperature in the engine bay.

This is sick!!!!! I'm guessing somewhere around 510 whp.

We were almost at 389awhp with 2 cylinders working at half capacity (100psi vs 190psi), at half of final boost (18psi we are going to 36psi), no meth and with far less timing then was required to have reached 401awhp (where we were at 23psi, 70% meth and considerable advanced timing). Another factor is that we are now going with an ABA stroker crank and 100% meth.

Pistons are being made and will be arriving on tuesday!! So Im hoping to have her back together in the next couple weeks.![]()

lol So I was just curious of how much i spent on parts in total during the build. If someone were to replicate my build, it would cost them around 18k in parts alone, before taxes.better be worth it!!

hey I started a new thread on Audizine if you wanna keep track of the progress.

So she is finally up and running. At wastegate pressure, N75 disconnected, of 25psi and mild timing with no meth we are at 380lb-ft/380whp. Decided not to go to full boost until springtime. It has plenty of power up to 6k RPM where we set the Rev limiter. So here's a short list of things done this time.
ABA Crank
Custom AMD Stroker 82.5mm Wiseco Pistons
FP HTA3076R w/Billet compressor wheel and Tial SS exhaust housing
Custom 2.5in piping from turbo to Modified APR FMIC
Custom 3in piping from IC to BBK 70mm Throttle body
Custom 3L Intake Manifold

Damn that's a wicked header! Waiting for number once you turn it up!

Beautiful setup! But I have a question: with so much goodness, how come you're still running the original AEB ignition setup?

The engine works just fine right now without the new FSI coil packs. But the bigger reason is I have 2 quarters left in college, so my money is better spent elsewhere. I have a laundry list of things still to be done, but until I finish college, they will have to wait. And yes new coil packs are definitely on that list.
