Thread: changing timing belt on my 2007 Passat Wagon 2.0T

    1. 04-23-2009 11:35 AM #1
My Passat has about 80K on it and I would like to change the belt on my own, does anybody has a detailed step by step manual about how to do it or know where to find one?

      Thank you,
      Juergen

I don't know if that would be a good do it yourself. I've heard from vw technicians that it is a real PITA.

      Thank you,
You may know where I can find more details about changing the belt?

Best bet would be to pick up a bentley repair manual, about $75 on dvd-rom

Like he said the bentley repair manual. You can find it cheaper on ebay. I'll look through mine and see if I can help you out.
