Howdy, folks:
I have the remote unit from Rightclick for my late '93. I've printed out and followed vdubjim's diagram. The doors lock but the windows and snrf don't close unless I ground the 86 terminal. I can hear the pnp unit click, but the car does not unlock. I'm missing...what????
Thanks for any help you can give me.

You read it huh? Sick little write up I did under my previous SN.
I sold Right Click out of Plug and Play harnesses a few times with this, got no love.![]()
Great kit, but the Keys are not the greatest. They are a 7 out of 10 though.

You have wrong relay then.
Red and yellow wire gets the pulse from the relay.
#119
switched out the relay for a regular ol 4 post (previous one was a 5 post with 2 87 outputs). checked my wiring to the red and yellow wire for unlock and everything looked in order.
looking at the diagram provided, I have the y/blk and the y wire (from the rclick module) going to the solid red wire in the corrado harness, and then from the relay, I have the 87 post going to the red/yellow wire - and I also have the 85 and 30 posts of the relay connected together which in turn is also connected to the red wire on the corrado harness (that also gets the yellow and yellow/black wires. my green wire from the rclick module is connected to tge 86 post of the relay
lock works no problem - just can't unlock![]()

Are you letting the alarm light set before trying to unlock?
#121
Yeah tried a few different methods: waiting 30 secs to unlock, waiting 30 mins or more, and even just unlocking with key and then hitting button for unlock to see if it triggers the pump (it didn't)

Hey
Great writeup. I just finished installing the P&P into my 90 on the weekend.
Did you ever get the trunk pop wired up? Pics?
Thanks
#124
I want to Add unless you are getting an instant roll up and lock with 1 click, then you def have a wiring issue to a door handle maybe?!?! Try Unplugging the handles (and see if it works. Make sure your hatch is accessible.)
Trunk has yet to happen. I must make sure I am keeping the carbon hatch I have first because Wiring is a PITA. So is the Rear Window Seal.
Will update when I get to it.

So I finally tested out the system that I installed on my 90 and the doors don't lock, when I click the button on the remote the rear wiper comes on. I have the
P and P wiring harness. The harness is plugged in correctly as I double checked to make sure it isn't backwards. Has anyone else run into this problem? Does anybody have an ideas on how to correct the issue? I checked the wiring diagram in the Bentley and I don't find it very helpful.

I'm wondering if rclick has a newer iteration of the harness out there. (seeing as how so many of us are having problems). Asked rclick for some help and they sent me this diagram:
using their diagram, I would then hook up
the yellow and the yellow/black rclick wires (also looks like the fused red rclick wire) to the #1 red wire in the corrado harness;
black rclick wire to #3 brown corrado wire;
white rclick to the #7 red/yellow corrado wire;
and rclick white/black to the corrado's red/black #10
(wire numbers correspond to the harness plug that goes to the vacuum pump in the trunk)
just wondering if this is what you guys think the diagram means (want to make sure before I rewire AGAIN)
thanks

Just wired mine up exactly like this and having some issues. The doors lock but the windows don't go up and on top of this the unlock function won't work. I brought out the multimeter and the white/black wire does not show power when I press the unlock button. I am going crazy here and starting to think I should blame the scotch locks or the unit itself.
#129
When I wired Mine I had the exact same problem with the unlock function. Turns out I used the Black wire with a white stripe instead of the white wire with the black stripe.![]()

Im starting to go crazy redoing this wire and trying to test every point where it could go wrong. I have three theories 1. my plug output colours are different, 2. I have a defective unit, 3. I am crazy and ****ed something up

Ok... I'm stupid, got it sorted thanks to vwflygti. I took it literally to not read into the diagram and didn't connect the powerOddly it still locks without the fused power connected...

For the windows up feature mine works but if both windows are down it tends to put only one up.

question ive always meant to ask.....why do this when you can use the factory mk3 keyless box?
additionally, the wiring changed for the central locking somewhere around 93. if you have a g60 you may have more trouble getting the wiring to work out. there is a jumper wire for the lock and unlock to work properly on the earlier cars. 93+ should work how will did the dyi.

Finally bought this kit for my C. Spoke with the people at rightclick about the P&P kit and you now have to buy a separate harness and the universal kit if you want P&P.
The harness is here:

The kit is the same universal kit that people have been using:

Hope this helps!
