Anyone down to help me shave a bumper like this?

    5. 01-02-2011 07:13 PM #10005
I've got one shaved with the line in it... debating if I should just finish it fully and sell... or just run it on my diesel.

As you can see, it still needs tons of work. So does the car but that's another story, will be going flat black soon. I went a different route with the filling, I used fiberglass cause I felt it would be a bit stronger. Trust me when I say it's pretty fuggin strong. Then I just glazed over with some bondo.

I was actually going to do the same with mine...never got around to it.

I would buy that, for sure.

I'll never do it again, I'll let you know what I do though. I really want to run a nasty fog/turn set up that's just in my room.

Woodbine and Kingston Rd is a large cemetary, however its a place for people to mourn or visit past loved ones... not too sure its a place to 'dick' around and take pictures of dubs....

Lol it's still not even done... that was all a glaze to get the glass smooth. A lot of that was sanded off.

Regardless dude, bumper flexes non stop. Bondo products in general are garbage. Evercoat is what should be used. Polyflex for bumper applications, its made to flex

The only reason bondo products are garbage is when they aren't applied properly. They suck with grooves and pinholes if you don't lay it properly. Weren't you the one mixing mud with a scraper and a piece of wood? I don't care what product you're using that would yield absolutely horrible results.

Just to put into perspective how little bondo I put... I did bend and flex it more that it should and it didn't crack. It all depends on how you use the ****.

to be honest, the bumper won't flex once it's on anyway.

Yes, Learned from my mistake, Trial and error. and I'm speaking from experience, I've shaved a bumper with bondo. I KNOW how to mix filler, and apply properly. The bumper tipped over on me, bam, cracks.

My corrado, Done with polyflex, dropped etc. Nothing. Just saying...
