How the heck do you remove the main shifter rod from a mk3. the one that runs from the shifter to the back of the engine above the exhaust?

amazing illusion that they are fast, huh? BPY 2.0T FSI. turbo spools quick[read: instant lol] with a flat torque curve. out the box the motor feels great, in-traffic 'maneuvers' dont require constant downshifting. daily, around the town they feel WAAAAY faster than the B6 stock 1.8T[still my favorite tho]

Yeah as much as I liked the car, the A4 is definitely too big and bulky for my taste.

150-180 hp in the bunny would be more than sufficient for me.

GOt the oil leak fixed, but the clutch would NOT bleed. I was so cheeseddddd... wheeled. lolol Going to try another method tomorrow quickly. I hope it works

Little news on the mk3 thats going to be scrapped tomorrow.

It has a black complete Dash in the car at the moment. all switches, vents, cluster, dash trays. all there. if you want it, call me ASAP and pick it up today as I have no place to put it.

Glove box latch is broken.
Cup holder is there, holds coffee, but one corner is broken.

I'll take all the vents, switches off if no one wants it and scrap the dash shell with the mk3 shell.

$100 OBO. for my time. I want to see some one use it rather than scrap it. so flexible on price.

ha! yea i was just speaking about the b6/b7 chassis/engines in stock form. the 2.0T FSI is incredible at building torque quickly even under low load. its really a perfect sporty city car engine. for modding i choose the 20v and i'll take it in a b5 all day every day.

Clutch is bled, boosting at 10lbs no issues, it is quick But blew my rear brake line

Hopefully have it fixed tomorrow

its the perfect amount, maayybbeee a reflash would be a tiny bit more fun, but a stock 1.8t with a properly paired tranny is a solid driver!
