Yesterday heading south on the M1 between Springwood and Ormeau I followed a brand new black RS6 sedan.

Plates were "BALLER". Man those pumped guards look good.

      Shane.

Oh. It had the ceramic brakes as well.

spotted a little, blue Polo Match hitting the revs hard across the bridge today, looked quite good.
Shortly afterwards I spotted a R32 sitting at the lights in Neutral Bay, and after witnessing the Polo in flight, the stationary R32 just seemed like it was trying a little too hard.

      whaaaaaaaat?

I'll tell you something else though - there still seems to be money around. In the last month, of the 60-80 cars that park at my place, at last 8-10 have been replaced with brand new ones.
      Range Rover HSE
      R35 GT-R
      AM V8 Vantage
      A few new S-Class MB's
      New SLK
      ...the list goes on.

Oh and the first ever Golf VI I've seen in Singapore was in the car park at work today.

Spotted myself being chauffeured to the airport the other day in the family fridge freezer for a quick trip to Melbourne for the Australian Institute of Architects conference.

In the Qantas terminal I spotted an Audi Q5. I yawned.

When I got to Melbourne I spotted Nick, the driver of a fine big black Holden town car of some description. It had lots of leg room, but I did note that the body control was somewhat lacking when heading over some bumpy bits on the motorway heading for town. Holden must try harder.

Spotted a departure from said town car in St Kilda at the Prince Hotel. It's looking a little bit beaten up these days but still rates as a pleasant place to stay with that lovely bakery Il Fornaio right next door.

The conference itself vacillated between the sublime genius of Studio Mumbai http://www.studiomumbai.com/ and the torture of various other speakers in danger of disappearing up their own rear orifices. A case in point would be Paul Minifie, principal at Minifie Nixon Architects. The key quotes from his presentation were:

      "hyper astronomical"
      "virtual systemic origins"
      "periodic minimal surfaces"
      "counter factual"
      "cellular automata"
      "parametrically controlled"

He was only rivaled by the manic compulsive nose, lapel and hair adjusting performed for a solid hour and a half by Slavoj Zizek, here is the documentary evidence, a presentation titled "Maybe We Just Need a Different Chicken"
      http://video.google.com/videop...30001

You can all be assured the profession of Architecture is in good hands....

Spotted me, shortly afterwards beating a retreat and catching up with a friend who has just bought a VW Tiguan as a family car, unfortunately I can't report too much about it as he picked me up in his mini which we will leave at that.

Neil Perry continues to wheel out new restaurants out left, right, and centre, Rockpool in the Casino was good for some oysters and a drink, although I didn't stay for dinner.
Siglo, the cigar bar on top of the Supper Club was more my speed as was Cumulus in Flinders Lane. You Melbournites are spoiled in the culinary stakes.

Anyway, I digress, While out and about I did spot a Mercedes C63 being given a bit of jandal away from the lights, the noise was almost enough to make me overcome a life long dismissal of all things Mercedes. A black wagon would do me as a family car once the golf wears out. And I enjoy a major reversal in financial fortunes...

On my return to Sydney I witnessed No. 1 son making sterling progress on his balance bike. He is now traveling at running pace. Must save up and buy him a helmet for his next birthday.

Spotted today on the ANZAC bridge a Yellow Gallardo driven by an elderly gentleman. The woman in the passenger seat looked somewhat younger, and rather attentive.

Nah, more low key and relaxed than options 1 or 2. It's in Flinders Lane near Spring St, check it out next time you're in town.

Didn't get a chance to drop by Eastern Creek the other day, how did 'SEXYR' perform?

That does make a lot of sense doesn't it? I mean, the new E-class pops its bonnet up 3cm to avoid padestrians who have been run over to end up on the wind screen, and this just takes it that step further. Now, can we invent side mirrors airbag so we can return side mirrors to normal size instead of jumbo ears?

Spotted this thing in the garage this morning. What is it? I reckon this guy is an Essendon footballer as his plate is ES5 DON. He is very fit looking guy and about 30. I don't follow football so have no idea.

I doubt an AFL footballer would get a plate like that. He's probably just a wanker. Actually, that means you could still be right, haha.

You have one sharp eye my friend! The wheels and brakes belongs to a C6, and on the same parking spot used to be a yellow C6 with the same regio. So he rebodied the whole car? Wow big job.

If he had any sense he would have put the drive line in the donor car rather than half arsedly putting the panel on a corvette, but each to their own i suppose.

What a fuuuuckin retard mobile. Please leave a message telling him Chip Foose called and said he was a tryhard. Looks like the ugly birthchild of a corvette and the batmobile! 57 chev front, 59 chev rear... all tacked onto a C6 Corvette... I honestly dont think it could get any worse... oh wait, he might still be waiting for some ugly wheels...

Bwahahaha gold. It has this gold flakes metallic on the red paint too. I spent 5 mins looking at it before (he parks just in front of me), and I can't decide if it looks cool or retarded. It has a cool low stance to it (similar height to when it was a Covette), but a bit try hard at the same time. This guy has 3 cars - a weird arse green colour E500, a 350z 'vert (the one next to the Corvette) and the yellow Corvette. The Corvette disapeared for a few months and he parked his E500 there instead (normally on another floor). So now we know why...

Im pretty sure I have seen a picture or a story about it before... doing research on it as I type. I cant remember if it was a US or a Aussie company. I think it was in Unique cars magazine some time this year...
