Yeah what a legend
Spotted a heap of guys in R35 GTR's, Maserati's an F458 italia etc etc cruising down Burke St Docklands this morning. I think they were headed for the docks area but that is all closed now. Very much a dead end.

Metallic olive convertible Murcie on the Old Pac Hwy today. Surely, one of the most pointless cars ever.![]()

John, the car may be pretentious, but the owner does not have to be! Two of my very good friends have/had Murcie, the one who had it now have an Aventador. The one that still has one is a SV version which is most likely perceived as even more pretentious! Anyway, these two guys are the most soft spoken, humble, unprentious people you will likely to ever meet. So there you go. Just becuause someone likes a car and has the means to buy it, doesn't make them a particular type of person.

My mate with the SV also owns a Smart ForTwo and FJ40 as his dailies. The other guy is err, a very rich guys with a 16 car garage home so his cars are anything from a 599 to a Phantom to a 911 turbo. But he would complaint like I do when we go for a meal in Chinatown and the price has gone up from $9.90 to $11.90.

I went last night. I was a bit Meh all week and day leading up to it but last night
It was farkin great and I even farked up and left once the house lights came on, which after 15 minutes he came back out and did a few more songs. I didn't care I'd had 2 hours worth anyway. Pretty good seats too row C. Those floor seats looked looked pretty average

I got pumped unfortunately, I've seen him a few times and have heaps of bootlegs etc so I kinda know what to expect but was the first night of the tour i should have known better as there were heaps of technical issues, first 2 3 songs were great and played some randoms i wouldnt have expected and then went into lets go crazy and his guitar didnt work so that got thrown at the roadie quite forcefully and they changed songs to some more synth heavy stuff while the keyboards were still turned down in expectation of the guitar set so from then on sound levels were all over the place the bass /bass guitar were so in your face you could barely distinguish anything and his guitar never seemed to be quite right later on but meh nobody else seemed to notice/mind but it it'll happen and few have said anything in subsequent reviews but I think i might track a ticket down for the 22nd show as I'm sure it'll be a lot better
I found it interesting however that he's always doing the "real music by real musicians" line and then he threw in a sampler set with just him pressing the buttons on a synth but I'd never seen that before so it was kinda cool but yeah having missed the guitar set i left rather unfulfilled![]()

Actually it's one of the few shows in recent times I haven't had any sound complaints and there were no obvious hitches. I actually found myself thinking about 3/4 of the way through "wow this is the best concert sound I've heard in a long long time.
There was one tiny beef in that he has the crowd since all the Chorus's of his hits LOL and yes my partner commented on the synth bit straight after the real music bit![]()
