one of my favorite ongoing projects, glad you're still working on it. Whatever became of the wooden wheel surround? Not that the other wheel isn't sweet as hell and all..

no i just picked up that wheel cause i'm the other kind of wheel whore. i love unique steering wheels. the wood scirocco wheel is still my end goal for this car. its collecting dust at my dad's. i should get on him since he's unemployed at the moment.

tail light tint is a tranpearant candy apple red i bought at a craft store in the model car section

^not really i'm not the best welder so i have to wait until my buddies schedule and mine line up to finish the floor. i'm not confident in myself to do the cutting and welding on the floors. april 9th we are taking a whole day and were gonna knock it out. i have from the back seats to the back painted in a rust inhibiting primer. i'm shopping around for a good undercoating sealer right now. i also started rebuilding my disc rear. hoping to have it on four wheels before the end of april so i can keep working on my bay.

Cool stuff. Question: Do you ever get any static from 5-0 for having the placards?
