Thread: LEGO Picture Thread

  1. 05-11-2009 12:29 AM #1
How about a thread to post photos of your latest creations, acquisitions, MOCs, vignettes, etc.?

I picked up Darth Vader's Fighter and the Beach House on sale at Toys'R'Us a couple of weeks ago. It didn't come with a chrome Darth.

Father dropped in for tea with the son.

I have a project I'm working on that won't be finished for a while.

So here's something I built about a month ago.

Part of the fan community project for http://www.neoclassicspace.com/

dr Spock, you should put a (56k warning) to the title, once i get in the groove with pix, i probably wont stop! lol

    well here I go!

the LEGO Castle Market Village set:
Absolutely the best value for money with all the parts you get in the set!!!!!

the LEGO Castle Market Village set:the accessories

the LEGO Castle Market Village set:the inside of the blue house

the LEGO Castle Market Village set:the blecksmith shop.

my small repair garage, built last week, took about two hours to build.

    my repair garage inside:

the new LEGO Emerald night set

    LEGO Emerald night set

the Emerald night is not such a good set if you are looking to run it on a track, it runs awful, but as a display pice, its fantastic!

And now some of my vehicles I built:

4 wide tuner ( headlights glow in the dark as well as under glow.)

stereo system of my 4 wide tuner

    School bus in 6 wide

    back of the school bus

a LEGO tractor with Mower tow along.

a few police vehicles, on the left a Fiat 126p and the right a police van

    Mercedes truck in 6 wide

Under side detail (spare tire, parking stand)

Back of the truck and trailer

    Minifig scale BMW M3

these cars are Fiat 126p (Polski Fiat)

here are my Abarth racing versions of the Fiat 126p

another pic of the Abarth Fiat 126p

this is a fun challenge, buy a little set with one bag, and build the set while it is still in the bag!!! its alot harder than it looks.

    Well, I'm done for now.

You guys have some nice creations.

Recycled the recycle truck into a 4 stud wide truck.

I think I like it better with 6 wheels.

the "Racers" series are mostly one bag sets.

I think the Coast Guard off-road bike came in one bag. Personally I think more bags = more fun.

    I built this Yesterday:

    three floor parking garage.

It comes apart in two sections for easy access to the inside and for easy transport from show to show.

In total it was about an 8 hour build from start to finish.

I till be on display with the rest of my Layout at Brickworld in Wheeling Illinois this June.

Dang man, that is sick! Is this an original idea or did you find instructions anywhere? I'm guessing it's all original created by observational memory/pictures?

  17. 05-18-2009 11:31 AM #17
Everything I build is custom, NO instructions.

That's what I thought, simply awesome man!

As my Lego collection grows, hopefully my build skills will as well. I just need to get some more bricks! Especially some specialty bricks.

the Frank Lloyd Wright Building might be an exclusive only through Frank Lloyd Wright museum, the other sets in the series are a complete waste of money, 20$ for a set with 80 some basic pieces in it is not worth the price, you are only paying for the nice box.

Now that the weather is warmer, it's time to think about camping:

Most of the vehicle pieces came from Lego's Pick A Brick.
