Think there is room where the steering wheel is supposed to go for another gauge.

Washed it and clay bar-ed it

First time using clay bar, and I gotta say it's worth it....before, even after a good wash my paint felt rough, I was amazed how smooth it feels now, and how dirty my clay bar looked

Added a bigger radiator, removed the auxilary radiator, removed the 16 row under-bumper oil cooler, added Mercedes Sprinter intercooler, changed the G60 to Intercooler piping, filled the later-model bumper holes and outside mirror holes, changed the OZ's to lighter (and more easy to clean) OZ‘s, replaced the 195/50's Toyo Racing with 195/45 Dunlops.

Well, not today, but last week, I wanted to see if a turbo exhaust turbine could blend a nut.....nope. So now I am driving around a car that gets SUPER good gas mileage and sounds like a fire truck. I have the new turbo, Im just waiting for the new Manifold to get in....should be tomorrow.

First batch of parts for the 4k should be here today. Already did the timing belt while everything was out. Water pump install and putting everything back in the engine bay this week.

R's large cooling fan shat the bed, ordered that as well as new wiper blades. Vegas sun has taken its toll and dry rotted the entire assembly, inserts are still good as I went to silicon blades a few years ago.

I cleaned my wheels, and drove it for the first time in awhile. I cannot find the parts to get it to pass inspection. They wont pass it without a power window switch.

I know right, they say the windows have to be operational. I guess maybe in case you go off a bridge? The passenger side window switch works fine, but the driver side fried.

started the wiring harness...... i hate integrated harness BS! engine harness should not be part of every other harness at the same time! just a pain in my a$$
bend it , cut it , grind it, weld it....... drive it! ..... break it........

  28. 06-17-2009 06:05 PM #168
I walked past my parts corrado and shook my head in disgust, then I kick my other corrado for being a pain in the ass. I might wash the third if nothing breaks on it. Why to we love to torture ourselves with these glorious old pieces of sh*t?

Yesterday I finished up the install of the new 3071r. It is good to have it done. Driving it with about 70hp made me remember just how fun 300 can be.

Fixed some wiring issues from the previous owners and got the new headlights working. Still have a wiring mess to clean up. Good thing it was bought for track duty and nothing else.

How is the spool compared to the 2871? How well does it breathe up top (6k rpm+)?

I want to swap my exhaust housing to a .82 from the .63 that's on there now.. I can feel it start to choke up up top with the current setup.
