My 1-mile tuned Veyron does the online 1/4 with dead consistent 8.9xx (varies a hair depending on how straight I keep the launch)

Anybody else dread racing season play? I am at level 38 and cannot bring myself to race anymore. Blahhhhhhhh....its boring. And if it is a 4 or 5 mile lap and the race is 5 or 6 laps, fogettahbotit, that is enough for me to turn off the game. I love racing to death, but I am just not into it. I have all assists off and I am racing on hard and it still doesn't hold my interest.

i got there two weeks ago and haven't done it yet...lol.

ive been spending all my time drifting in free mode since i hit that race...

, why are you dreading it? Seeing how fast you can take the chicanes is a blast. That's what the back button is for, that track.

I just don't enjoy the new track at all, especially in the R cars...

also, I try my best to not use the rewind feature as much as possible, but thats just a personal thing. I think its pretty cheesy and try to avoid it. if i am under 50% complete on a race, i start over instead of using the rewind.

Season Play is pretty boring. Especially since a lot of the events are repeated over and over. World Tour in E, F, S, R3, R2, etc...

I'm on Season 6 and looking forward to finishing it up. Then I'll hit up the event list.

Funny thing is I found the R1 events more exciting than the R3 and R2 simply because the car is faster and allows you to lap the tracks quicker.

Well this pack is supposed to tie with the international auto show so I wasnt expecting anything less than 2010.

oooh, well that does explain it doesn't it.

you can totally tell that AUDI had some major investments in this game.

SOOO many audi models being released and the R8 test drive when you start the game... and all the VW models too, all part of VAG.

not that im complaining.... but is it as obvious to everyone else?

The others are kind of meh for me...I haven't tried any of the Holden V8s yet and don't know much about them to go nuts over the HSV w427

I'm looking more forward to older models. So far 2 DLC packs and both are 2009 or 2010. Don't mind but I'd rather get some classic bad ass cars. I wonder if T10 will ever patch in more wheel and body part options

I'm hoping they price the cars more reasonably in-game. Three of the cars in the last DLC pack cost over 5 million CR combined. That would wipe out all of the 3 million CR I currently have.

Would like to see more parts and classic cars added as well.

It's a crime to have Holdens in-game yet no Bathurst (or Blue Mountain, whatever it was called). I'd be happy with no more car packs for a while if we got that track.

Only at certain tracks. In FM2 I always hired a driver for the longer Sidewinder races. In FM3 it's Sedona (all those decreasing radius curves are the suck).

This. Along with the likes of the Nurburgring and Spa, that is one of the most iconic tracks in the world.

i actually dont mind Sedona, kinda fun to drive around, but i HATED sidewinder races in FM2, but never hired any drivers..i've only hired a driver once, and i dont remember for what race on fm3..

I've hired a driver to spam the LeSarthe enduro to get some easy cash when I was doing other things, but I'll probably go and do that race personally as well at a later date.

How much do you get for hiring a racer for endurance at LeSarthe? In FM2 I would do that on Mugello using my modded and tuned (and dominating) Enzo. Eventually kept doing that to get all the cars but that got tiring. I might do it for some of the cars cuz the achievement isn't own ALL cars but only 1 per manufacturer. I have a lil over 300k now though but that can go easily on a purchase of a car and parts

You only end up with Cr. 84,000 for the enduro at LeSarthe. It's kind of ridiculous that the hired gun takes 50% of your winnings...

I just run the 50 lap multiplayer on Benchmark A with the RS Spyder now. Cr. 94,000 for ~15 minutes of lapping. Makes the enduros pointless unless you really can't spare 15 minutes.

Well, at least I am excited for the Aston. I actually liked several of the cars in the last pack, and I have a serious car addiction so I am going to buy every DLC that they offer. I just hope that they put in a few that i really want (Golf-R, Jetta tdi cup, RS4, RS2, S3, E190, Starion, Ascari A10, KTM X-bow, and on, and on, and on...)

yah, ive had no luck with any cars above S on NYC. even if i do nail a lap or two, I cant go more than 4 laps all out without messing up and crashing somewhere...

i said i dreaded it because I didn't ever like the track and then they made changes that I felt were worse. Some people like the track more now and with the lower class cars I really like it better, but with R cars its pretty dreadful in my book.

Especially when I am racing other R cars and actually have to maintain a lead for 19 laps, that track just kills me...lol

I found with the R cars that if I block the AI hard a couple of times at the chicanes it backs off and can't catch back up to me. Failing that just sucker the AI into an inside pass and close the door.

This isn't racing, it's vehicle selection, period.
If you check the leaderboards, the '03 350Z holds all the F Class records.
OK, I added ALL the PI-detracting mods I can think of...The largest, heaviest wheels, AWD, sway bars, some of the Aero stuff, etc...and I can onlt get into mid-D class PI levels...
Anyone know how to get this pig down to F Class so I can finish this garbage?

Honestly, trying to build cars and whatnot this second time through has become WORK.
Having to raise money to build cars was ALWAYS the sore spot of these things for me.
You earn SO little money and crap is SO expensive...The glitch was the only thing that made it tolerable the first time.
I hate to say it, but I may have to sign off of "economy-based" racers forever.
This is supposed to be a RACING SIM, not a minimum-wage second JOB.

OK, did a little research, and this was the "leaderboard glitch" everyone was whining about a while back.
Is it possible they closed the glitch that made it possible to drop the PI that low, but LEFT THE TIMES UP?!?!

How is a person supposed to know what freakin' legitimate F-class car is most competitive on the Speedways?!
