Your intake plumbing will be a little more elaborate than most, that is if you use the typical draw-through MAF

I heard this project is being financed with all the money he's embezzled as a mod, that's why the search is down so much. There's not enough funds to pay the person that keeps up the site.

Fantastic, can't wait till it's done.

From what I know now, it will be a draw-through MAF... sometimes plans change and I'm the last to know.

The piping will be elaborate with the air-to-water and intake piping, but it will be well-executed.

You have to run a MAF with a VR6 (on ME7) because we don't have MAP sensors.

Well... I may make another thread just about the motor for the 24v'ers... this thread is about the entire car. I've got some cosmetic plans as well, money allowing.

Wow I missed out on this thread huh Nick?

Air/Water intercooled 24Vs are freakin lame bro. Do something better.

I can't wait to see it... I can only imagine what it'll be like to spool that hard that early and be able to rev that high. Awesome bro. Keep it up.

Mike... Your A/W intercooled 24v may be lame but mine will be better. Definitely appreciate your input and I'm sure I'll be asking you more in the future.

A twin setup wont really spool any faster than a properly sized single turbo setup, won't really make any more power either. Especially with the billet wheeled ball bearing turbos available today. Really twins are just novelty, more of a "because I can" sort of thing. You can get the HTA3582 which will hit full boost quicker than a 35R and still wind out to over 700awhp. I personally can't say I'd want spool any lower than that (3,000rpms) ESPECIALLY on a FWD car.

They're also generally beneficial for V type engines with 2 separate heads because it makes fabrication a little easier.

But either way this project will be pretty awesome and can't wait to see it

Not to speak for Nick - but his goals here are actually pretty modest. He's not trying to make tons of HP - but rather to have a turbocharged car that has boost whenever he wants.

His two turbos are both ball bearing - and they are pretty small... I'd guess this thing will be @ full boost near 3K - hopefully they'll be big enough to keep spooling hard 'till redline without running out of room.

This should be one of the most fun MKIVs to drive. Exciting stuff.
