Progress will be S L O W.
I want it done for H2O.

Totally legit question... they'll be run in parallel. I initially wanted to run two in series but that idea is going to take more time to develop.
this is all a hoax I bet.
Moderators are not supposed to do cool isht from what I heard. Like totally in dis contract like Whoa!
I want to see pics of you on the decks or ima have to lock this thread.

PVW - November 2013 "Perfect Storm"
Got a picture of the Wastegates, Tial 38mm gates anodized black.
More "progress" shots... the heatshield is off and the exhaust manifolds are disconnected as well. The wiring has been sorted out, coolant lines disconnected from the block...
As for power, I'd like 400whp daily and crank it up to 5 something?
Not my chess set.
I was using it for scale with the wastegates, since they're much smaller than the old model Tial wastegates.

While my car sits in the shop, it's a holder for bumpers from cars that are being worked on... Just so happens that bumper is blue, but not the same blue as my roof and mirrors.

Oh you can have a ride in the R too
Quote, originally posted by DUB_MANGv2 » and in other news... i got my tial wastegate today and holy cow... this thing is HUGE! maybe i should of opted for the new stubby version for the extra 20$
Yah man, I had to get the smaller ones to preserve space in the bay! An extra $20 would have killed you?

You mean road salt and other crap that comes with the car being a daily for 175,000 miles of its life?
Yeah, that will get in there.
I knew once you started dyno'ing it you wouldn't be satisfied! I luv when a vw competes against vettes and other cars and blows the doors off of them.
Good thing you got that slip diff in there last year. You will probably need a better one now!
My plan is to have the motor fully out by the end of this week...

Has this even been done with two identical turbochargers? I've searched to no avail. It doesn't seem as performing as two identical ones in parallel.
*edit: Nevermind, I might have found something but it still looks a little strange. I assume the blades were flipped around in the other direction in the second hotside, but the exhaust flow doesn't seem right. Having the air go around the snail shell seems to allow better flow than directly into the blades, does that make sense?
