they didn't fit...most likely based on that set of CAD drawings on the vortex which are wrong.

So far the only ones I've come across up here that do fit are the ones sold by CABNFVR...I have a pair of them in my possession which if someone could copy them would be ideal...but everyone wants stupid money or they can't get em to me quickly

fuel injection line from CTC/Parts Source + fuel injection clamps.
Use a small pipe cutter (again CTC plumbing section)
Lube the line well, slide the hose over, double clamp each end for security and durability

Total time 30 mins (with beer of your choice nearby for thirst breaks)

The fuel lines under my Coupe (Rust Checked from Day 1 and only 51K kms on the clock) still had like 3 patches on them when I bought it.

I've yet to determine the leak, could be the pump

$165 from Worldpac....sucks....but the Bosch pump is the ONLY way to do it IMHO...so much nicer and quieter than the cheaper Walboro

someone was telling me about Worldpac just the other night, hadn't checked yet, but $165 is better than the 200-250 i see on places likes rabbit parts.com

edit: just realized the 300 pump is for late model cabbys.

now this why we own mk1's

Sandor, my cold starts have a very rough idle. You think it's the cold start valve? Or can the issue be the fuel filter? I don't think that has been replaced in a while

I've gotten a few parts from worldpac, definitely cheaper than most places.
PM me if you want me to program your windows to go up/down with your remote. ('01-'05.5 MKIV's & Passat's)

how long does it idle rough for?

  13. 06-18-2009 08:11 PM #153
it's weird, idles rough until it gets moving, up to temp and into some higher revs...then it stabilizes.

Start with the fuel filter. It's cheaper and should probably be changed anyways.

Hey, on another note...I just need to capitalize the "M" in Mayhem and this is pretty much done.

I will post the details regarding pre-ordering of the tees. These WILL look hot.

Disregard the pink colour as of now, just thought it was a cool background to work on. I will post shirt colour availability and pricing over the weekend and a copy of the final screen.

    Enjoy,

sounds good people. I will have the colour availability and pricing up shortly. I refined the image alittle and I think this will be the final cut.

This will be a limited print design, as we'll try to freshen it up all the time with different type of mk's...like maybe a doing a sick Caddy could be next
