Anything "not rotted through" will work for me haha I miiiiight be getting a whole set of bumpers from someone (has no room for them lol) next week, but if that falls through I'll let ya know.

And my car will be coming out of hibernation roughly..... 3 months ago.

Do a quick check on which cars has the shortest ones...I have a feeling some of the auto tranny axles were shorter.

Sorry folks, i've been slacking on setting something up. Been super busy.

Lets get some thoughts on the first meet of the season from everyone.

Would you guys rather just a coffee meet (i.e. Kennedy Commons for a few hours), or a cruise still afternoon?

Why not a meet and then a little cruise to somewhere?

How about the second weekend of May?

    Got bored.
Idle hands and an internet connection make for a big mess.
Already managed to replace the pump on my 92 TD, so the TDI swap I had laying about needed to find a home.
Gave up trying to find a clean B3 Passat Wagon or B5 Audi A4 Avant to swap it in.
The Craigslist / Kijiji thread gave me a suitable victim.
Results should be on the road in time for Spring Fling.
I need to get a Flickr account and post up some pics of my progress.
Right now it just looks like any other mk2 that was stolen and stripped.
Ultimately though, a clean mk2 Jetta 4dr TD will most likely be for sale in June.

    That depends

Back on the mk1 front I got a promising email from my local GIAC distributor, saying that the ECU's in the mail.

So it sounds like we are still undecided as to a date? I might need a bit of help though

Doing the rear brake cylinders this weekend and i still need to take the coilovers off the cabby. Everything else is basically staying on the car when i give it back to her as the new mk1 will not need anything that know of!

I dunno everyones schedules...but if anyone has anything they need "help" with....maybe a little fixing get-together is in order?? I have a decent space in my back yard. enough for 3 cars (once the cabby is off the jack stands. and there is space for another 5 cars directly behind my back yard or parkability in moving cars in and out.

Andrew, Gee, i'll message you guys this week (early) to try and see if you guys are available for next weekend (if we aren't doing the first GTG of the year then!)

    I will provide alcohol!

I don't wanna wait for the new mk1 to come and use that suspension, any one got anything lying around they dont want/need? Let me k ow if so..and name ur price!

Are you looking for something stock or aftermarket? I'm in the middle of installing coilovers on my Cabby, and will have two perfectly good stock front struts that I will no longer need.

I will absolutely take those off your hands avalon...Looks like i need rears as well....the bottom bolt that secures to the rear beam was sheared off during the taking off of the old suspension:banged:
the remained of the bolt is still stuck within the bushing/hole, and it wont come out! So if ya have the rears i'll take em too!

On another note...gonna need some help bleeding the brakes, lol...
