    Andrew, thank you.
    I'll try to get there.

Avalon, for Alex...a standard tranny, right? Oh, wait, the spare I have is the one Josh & Mikejoe used to race & grind in the departed red rabbit dirt racing in fields....never mind.

pretty sure I have a spare pair of new flange seals in g-town...will grab tonight.

Jesse, call Perjad or maybe Ken @ Wunderkar and get the rear main seal for your 2L 16V engine and input shaft seal for the tranny....as I know I don't have either of those.

I picked up my 020 from Lee for 3 bills....i have no idea the going rate is for used 020's, but given it needs the oil seal on the clutch pushrod and the bushing in behind it. Am i shooting high at $200? i dont wanna insult anybody, lol.... i honestly have no idea

Sounds decent for a known good tranny. I'll let Alex know... Her reverse synchro is completely blown ahaha, won't even go into gear anymore.

I won't make it for the tranny party, sorry...

We get on the road around 10-11am ish every day if we're lucky. I should have been 2 days ahead by now.

On the bright side, I've found a farmer's lot with a number of cars and will keep my eyes open for the rest of Manitoba. I even found an A100 just down the highway from my uncle and I think I'm going to have to ask him to ask his neighbour what he plans on doing with it.

In case you don't know what a Dodge A100 is...depending on the suspension, either 1/2 or 3/4 tonne.n

worst case scenario, you can use silicone to seal the speedo cable flange.

Perfect...so I get to sleep in Sunday till 10:30 then

I honestly don't even know what to call it, maybe let Sandor or Andrew explain... Wasn't so much shot..was more a very uneven wear pattern?? On both clutch and flywheel. Since I have nothing to compare to, I can't really say if clutch was ever "off". I never felt anything funny. But as both Andrew and Sandor said Midas well do it proper while everything was out. Obviously sound advice...I just miss driving my car.

always better to do it once and do it right rather then risk or rush it. honestly, it's kind of nice having a GTi and the Cabby in the garage...reminds me of the good ol' days
