I have a new found respect for working on VW's. I had to change an axle and swaybar links on a 93 Buick LeSabre, round 2. (first try was unsuccessful- thanks to GM not knowing if they are using metric or standard fasteners) Plus, the ball-joint was bolted down with a castle nut and cotter pin- with the head of the cotter pin facing toward the spindle. How the hell did they even get it in there???
