Thread: Mediocre MK2's, you love the best now lets see the rest.

    1. 07-08-2009 09:05 PM #106
My car is beyond mediocre, it's downright subpar. Dents and scratches galore, faded/peeling hood, ugly generic rims, bone stock otherwise. :barf:

Thanks man! Unfortunately it's just a 10.1" set-up with Pagid pads, SS braided lines, and Brembo rotors. Stops mighty fine for what it is. You would have loved it before I did the brake upgrade - 9.4" solids. Engine has headwork, cams, chip, etc...

I have a mediocre mk2. This is my 4dr VR with sh!tty paint and a crusty underside. Looking for a new shell, but she gets the job done for now.

VW's are great an all, but they have their purpose and one day I'll figure that out.

i like all cars in here,in my opinion,i can enjoy a golf or jetta II if it's dented or it has some rust spots or it's clean as hell,i don't mind as long as the total picture of the car is correct!

    15. 07-09-2009 01:52 PM #120
Picture quality says it all to me. I could post a pic of my car and say it's mediocre. At the same time I can post a different picture of the same car that makes it look NOT so mediocre.

Photo quality does make a huge difference in presenting the car.

      How do you figure?

      Pronunciation: \ˌmē-dē-ˈō-kər\
      Function:adjective
Etymology:Middle French, from Latin mediocris, from medius middle + Old Latin ocris stony mountain; akin to Latin acer sharp — more at edge
      Date: circa 1586

: of moderate or low quality, value, ability, or performance : ordinary, so-so

VR, Shmidts, Westy front, good amount of low... I could keep going if you'd like. You have the quality, value and performance. NOT ordinary or so-so.

This should be taken as a compliment but... YOU'RE NOT WELCOME HERE!!
