Is it true they don't bark that much? I have only seen one and the owner stated that they don't bark or are vocal at all.
Is this true?

she is such a doll! I have a red but i swear if i get another it will be a blue, they are just too cute! Have fun with her, they are MAJOR snugglers!

Yes, it's true. Bear only has problems when no one is home. If anyone walks on the grass, goes up to the door and he hasn't met them he will bark. If we are home he wont bark....our chihuahua is actually the alarm dog...we have to yell for her to shut up

She is definitely a snuggler, shes gotten so much bigger then that picture in like 3 weeks. Kinda hard to snuggle that much weight all over you with that puppy breath. Shes also very smart, we've already got her to sit on command and she's kennel trained, and is house broken. Now the chewing on shoes....thats a hurtle we really need to get on soon. The trouble is catching her do it...I've caught her twice already and she drops the shoe and runs...but we all usually end up picking up torn up shoes after the fact. We love her

I'm curious too, they look like maybe a cross between a French Bulldog and an American Bulldog? The ears scream French Bulldog but I've never seen one so large... both are very cute.
My cats, both Maine Coon's but from different parents:sorry for the pic whoring, I narrowed it down to this point and then couldn't decide

LOL! You're correct they're both french bulldogs. They are quite "beefy".
Tank is definitely overweight and much larger than most frenchies I see. Gus on the other hand is the correct size. They are great great dogs with goofy personalities.

Modified by MannyC at 6:30 PM 7-23-2009lol mine is about 55lbs and he thinks it is really comfortable to sit on my lab, and he sleeps on my head, he just has to be touching me. And yeah they are really smart and take well to learning if you work with them. Mine was SUPER easy to house train and all that, however crate training was hard. He destroyed 2 metal crates so we moved him into a plastic travel crate and that only has a couple holes after 4 months. As for chewing you need to get her actual bones (my local petland sells lamb femurs) that was the only think mine could not chew through in minutes. So look into some really heavy duty toys for her to chew on and that should help.

This is "sort of" rag doll Sally.and a less ghostly version.
this is her sister, Sabrina.
And this one just wandered onto the farm awhile back. We called her Little bits, since she was small when she arrived, and the name stuck.
And don't let the cat like appearance fool you. She's really a Labrador Retiever. We shoot pidgeons in the barns with a pellet gun. Pretty much from the first time I picked up the gun to go shooting, she followed. And son of a gun, if she doesn't run out and grab the fallen birds, and brings them back. Craziest thing I could imagine the first couple of times.![]()
