  3. 07-27-2009 08:54 PM #3
    Thanks

I know some people that still race with the burns/turbo burns

because its built like a tank

  4. 07-28-2009 03:33 PM #4
Slick. That's my red army right there.

Although I've only gotten into the hobby lately; I've only got a Mini Inferno 09 ST, ZX-5 sp, Inferno STR, and Inferno STRR.

They just do so great, I keep going back for more.

  5. 07-28-2009 08:29 PM #5
Kyosho makes the best cars and trucks on the market.
over engineered, top quality plastics, racing pedigree
Its the reason why all the other companys (except tamiya) coppied thier design.

The mini inferno 09 rocks. Just as fun as the big buggy's

also the sirio .09 engine sounds mean

Working on restoring an Inferno ST now:

Also working on a basket case Inferno "Super Eight" 959:

Have a few Burns, Turbo Burns, early and late Infernos on the bench, but no pics. Also a bunch of Optima based rigs, but those are for another thread

Dang I saw the "Vintage Kyosho collection" and got all excited that i'd see my old chain driven 4x4 electric car. Man that thing was a beast but the torsion bar suspension was craptastic!
I really wish everyone would update their location in their profile!

    Someone buy my car already!!

Always looking for free firewood to feed my hungry wood stove!

You talking about a Gallop or Progress?

  18. 12-06-2009 07:21 PM #18
Damn I used to have a Burns DX in the early 90s

  19. 01-08-2010 09:12 PM #19
Here's what I found under the christmas tree

    NIB OS RX-B .21

its going in my turbo inferno. Now all I have to find is the matching pipe....

  20. 01-11-2010 12:33 PM #20
    Nice!

I've got an O.S. T-2030 on the RX-B going in my Inferno ST. Blue pipe looks great with the blue head.

You looking for a BSW-48 pipe perhaps?

nice the t-2030 is a great looking pipe. I found a new one on ebay and the seller wants almost 100 bucks for the thing.

in the rx-b manual it shows the t-2020 pipe wich I have in one of my original inferno's but the 2030 with the double welds is sweet.

maybe ill wait for a better price. 100 bucks is alot for just a pipe right?

$100 is about right for that pipe, Tower still sells it for $93.

They do pop up on Ebay for less every now and then.
    .
What pipe is that on your ST? I think I have the same one in my pipe stash.

  23. 01-12-2010 07:04 PM #23
The pipe is an old paris racing pipe ..I think it was called the paris
stiletto. yea I have a bunch of them too. The dent is from a 50mph crash when I had it on my mp-5..haha

    those were the days

hows the porsche 959 resto going?

  24. 01-13-2010 07:37 PM #24
Thought it might be a Paris.

Still sourcing parts for the 959 resto, coming along slowly . . .

I've also been distracted with a Mountaineer resto and a couple RC10s.

You need to start an RS4 thread. And yes, Paris was large and in charge.

Is the kyosho pipe still being made?

    cool thanks,

of all the hard to find parts...the hardest to find (at least for me) has been bsw80kg green turbo wheels.

Kyosho still makes the white ones and the orange ones......

I have searched high and low for the them...who still has old stock
    on the net?

  34. 01-23-2010 11:31 PM #34
Haven't seen any green wheels, but haven't been looking either.

A dude in the UK just bought all of Kyosho's old stock from Europe (France) and is listing it on Ebay. Seller name is vintage-kyosho, he may have them. I've just bought a few Maxxum parts from him.

  35. 01-23-2010 11:51 PM #35
aha...I just bought a bumper from him...I was wondering why he has so much stuff...cool thanks
