These look like they will poop on all the other rods, and for 100$ more than the popular rods.

I'll be using these for the bottom end I am going to build.

After I recover from converting my ATP kit to a pagparts kit

The only thing motivating me to get my GTI running again is that it is a pain with the kids and one car.

I'm kind of there, but coffee in large quantities seems to motivate me because I can not sit still then.

1.8T H-Beam Drop-In 19mm Forged Connecting Rod Set with Forced Pin Oiling

1.8T I-Beam Forged FPO Rods with Forged Piston Set

Made from Cr. Mo.Ni.Steel (SAE 4340) forgings. Heat treated to ensure internal as well as external strength and to facilitate uniformity of strength throughout the entire rod. All rods come complete w/ ARP2000 Fasteners. Wrist pin oiling EDM drilled.

Brute Connecting Rods utilize forced pin oiling to facilitate a more reliable bottom end. We have found that under normal operation, dry pin bushings that rely on oil squirters and windage require a rebush far sooner then is acceptable to us. Ensuring that the pins recieve adequate pressurized lubrication can more then double the life expectancy. Since rebushing a tapered rod is an extremely complicated process, the added peace of mind is a good thing.

WE DO NOT DRILL OUT STANDARD RODS. THESE RODS ARE MANUFACTURED TO ACCEPT DRILLING TO KEEP STRENGTH

    ASK ABOUT OUR ENGINE PACKAGES

    Applications:

    1.8T H-Beam w/ 19mm Pins

1.8T and 9A w/ 20mm Pins I-BEAM (can be used on all 20mm pinned/144mm length rod apps w/ forged pistons or OEM pistons equipped with 20mm pins (ie AEB, AWD, AMU, AGU, etc)

    1.8T Custom CP Piston Sets

1.8T Custom and Off-The-Shelf Wiseco Piston Sets

    1.8T OEM AEB Piston Sets

Arnold... What's the weight on these rods? Average big end/little end if possible.

They are much beefier rods then the h-beams. Roughly 400ish big and 185 small average. Very similiar to Pauter

Well, we use completely different components. Rods are rifle drilled by default. We have CP custom strokers in stock at the moment w/ tool steel pins by default. You can email us at sales@pagparts.com.
