No one knew about that site and it turns out that he used pretty much everyone's pictures without permission.
I was fine with it until the guy got all irate with me. I really don't care who uses my pictures. I don't do it for profit.
I ended up becoming friends with the owner of that website and actually shot a feature for him.
anyway, to contribute....
not my car
I just want to express some appreciation for this thread... while there is some unnecessary criticism, it is an absolute gold mine for photography and modification ideas. (Keeping in mind that gold mines don't just mine gold... they mine a bunch of crap that they sift through.) There are some very talented photographers here, and equally beautiful cars. Gives me a lot of ideas with which direction I want to take mine in.
bigger people than you have tried. this is the EPIC photo thread. so its epic photos only. Get as many ideas as you want but you cant post crappy cell phone pics or plain DSLR pics. not unless the pic is of your car on the moon. that would be pretty epic.

When i was in NYC, i was eating at a restaurant with my friend when Bill Murray passed by, took a french fry from our basket, dipped it in ketchup, ate it and said:"No ones ever going to believe you" before walking out.
Well, I guess I should formally apologize for creating this monster and use of the word "epic" in the title lol
There is so much hard work and inspiration in this thread it would be a shame to lose it all.
To the people who are new to the epic picture thread please . Take the time to really go through this thread. These last few pages have some great examples, and some not great examples of an "epic" picture.
It's about about camera/photography skill.
PLEASE; ONLY reply/comment on the photos you DO like. and thats all we have to do to make sure this thread stays around.

When I go to shows I park my MKV then walk away and go to people au know and say ugh look at this MKV kid over here lol not trying to hate on my self or my constituents but MKV guys bitch and complain far more then any of the other generations. Even though my MKV was my first VW I consider myself a MK1 guy who happens to have a MKV. So much drama .

I always thought it was the MKVI guys that would carry on. Mind you, down here, half of them owned MKVs.
One more, and hopefully my last of this car for a while. A 6664 x 4443 version of it is here for anyone interested.
