Just chunked out some cash for school bills. If I make some decent money this weekend I'll place the order for adapters and a nice fender roller...

Glad to see you're back on the project!!
Interested in what you do fuel line wise. Mine needs the hardlines replaced because where the hose by the fuel filter is crimped to the hardline is leaking and is currently being held on by 2 worm clamps. Its held for the past 4 years but I need a permanent fix.

Nice. I'm assuming you've got the IE tank also. I ran -6 socketless everywhere in the system

    That BBM rail looks nice.

I had an ebay tank but thats getting ditched for the 034 tank I think,
the INA tank is real nice but I kinda of like the packaging and pickup design of the 034 tank

    its apples to apples really
in the event of a worse case and the tank is low or partially full the pick up is at the bottom of a cylindrical container

    started with a junkyard find

    mounted on stand

    started to break her down

    started to mic the bores

    shes a good one

    going to hone soon

I'm pretty sure im going to smuggle her into work and give the block a hot tank once i get the crank and intermediate shaft and bearings out.

present concerns slight chipping on the teeth of small IM shaft gear

The old wossners which are 81mm will work fine for this engine

the car has been sitting for a long time outdoors so everything is going to need a clean and retouch during disassembly.
Plenty of improvements and streamlining will be done.
Much of the mess will be eliminated or improved.

yea, thats my '57, she is more of a preservation than a restoration project, due to the fact that my money and time are thin. Or as I like to call her "the long term project"
