For those of you that got a DK (Dubkorps) card Friday night, there is another Recon Mission for a $130 gift certificate to Buff Auto Appearance. The photo mission is titled "Industrial." anyone have any suggestions for locations?

Looking to drop the car a bit lower this weekend before the cruise. I have only one dilema... My garage has quite a steep littlt entrance. I already take it at a pretty steep angle to make it in and I sometimes scrape. I know if I drop it I will probably scrape everytime. Any suggestions on how to fix the issue? I'm sure there are others that have this issue.

there's that and gettin 3/4 inch plywood to slide into the gap easing the incline..not gonna completely solve the issue but will help a bit. this is the price to play

Driveway and garage are two totally different things. I can only take it so far at an angle before I am in the wall.

This board resolution you speak of Chris, how would it work? You have seen my garage. My car has been low in every house I ever lived in. This is the shortest and tallest entrance I've ever had.

That is an option. I was thinking something a bit softer though. Maybe a couple of those 1/2" industrial rubber mats. I'll probably start with the wood first.

bob you can make a girl cry with those pictures haha

I am getting ready to move out of my apartment in Japan, and I decide to archive my pics to my external hard drive. Came across some old school stuff.

My red GTI back in the 16v days, along with an 83 Wolfsburg Scirocco project we did with our friend.

I love the way this car turned out.

    Start:

    Finish:

My red next to a BAD ASS GTI.

    Who can forget this cabbie?

    Some old redub action:

    Some old Thomas Corrado action:

Ahh... I'll be back in a few days to start the addiction ALL OVER again.

    OSD #26 - "Because he's thirsty... Dummy."

  18. 09-25-2009 03:51 AM #123
    Found a few more:

WTF? After we sold it, we got it back. With a few custom additions.

    More Scirocconess:

    Ronnie's old mark II:

    Motor coming out.

    Motor in.

    Finished (Ronnie's pics).

It's hard not to make that car look good, especially with the new body work and all that fresh new paint!

Not sure about those "orders". I might just get out and get a "human" job that pays overtime and has weekends off 'n stuff!
