I need a good garage where I can do some work on my engine bay, preferably this weekend maybe. Anyone willing to help out with some space, possibly a hand as well? I'll provide the beers!

Mee two! I love seeing custom stuff like this. It had a methanol injection system nicely tucked behind the seats, catch can with drainage to the oil fill tube, and oil dipstick secured with zip-tie! Yes!

baaahahahahaha, that is hilarious. this guy was at the machien shop when i was dropping a head off. he was talkin mad **** to the guys. super rude and loud. was braggin about 260somethinghp on meth and torco, doing 6" wheelies as he stated on H1.

asked him if he wanted to go for a spin, he actually guffawed at me, we almost burst out laughing.

Sounds like one of the GTO guys when I asked him if he wanted to go one night I had the Jetta... "nah, I'm not racing 'a' Jetta, har har". A week later another GTO that dynoed 40whp higher than his (378 wheel) lost to Dan... twice.

For all you cheap bastards like myself, Honolulu Aquarium has free admission next Saturday (4/14) from 9am-2pm. If it weren't for Hellaflush, I'd be taking my wife and two kids to this:

    At $36,8xx, nah, I'll pass.

A $23,000 GTI with $3,000 in performance upgrades is quicker than a chipped Golf R and get better gas mileage, all while having a more reliable engine. Use your imagination with what to do with the remaining $10,000.

Having said that, I'd love to own one.

It won't, unless you start pulling fuses to disable ESP. I did read that APR is working around it. I also read about a way to retrofit an ESP disable switch in the 2012 GLI.

Yes and yes ... only because I was stupid enough to take ALL of the backing off the vinyl at the beginning... biggest lapse in judgment EVER... took about 2.5 hours because of that
