one of my buddies back east hit the dyno for the first time on awhile after a huge move and some changes on his car. this is on an old tune(Autronic sm4) for a slightly diff setup, with some tweaks he made from higway pulls....this is in a 2001 A4 avant Sline. 3.0l 12v vr6, 268 cams, 160cc ID's, precision 6766. this was at 30psi lol

all this stemed from his 651whp 20v MKII...which after a few years of greatness, decided it would repeatedly eat itself, went to an a4..motor still hated life..sold the sedan got the wagon from anothe rof our bro's and went 12v...gotta say..**** is intense...![]()

After this weekends adventure with the muddy bike and the roof rack, I want to look into getting my roof protected with lamin-x. Any suggestions on where I could go to get my entire roof covered?
#3611
Yeah, that might be a little too much.
#3612
You could always vinyl wrap it :-)

I wanna keep it white. That black roof thing was nice 3 years ago. I know there are companies that will 3m the front end of cars, they have to be able to do the roof. Kinda just looking for location suggestions.

Call up a window tint shop. One that does buildings and such

I did my roof black over a year ago and man.. Every one and their mom has it these days I still love the look but individuality is kinda gone and I use my roof rack often so the scratches keep piling up

That's my fathers Manx (NA-LUKO). My brothers bug was also there. Red with cream top.

Anyone work at a VW dealership on Oahu? I'd rather buy a car from an enthusiast and not from someone random. Let me know. Thanks.

funny little doc from the 90's, was posted in the MKI forums, has plenty of VW content, especially MKI.

I didn't feel like starting a new thread... does anybody have any recommendations for upholstery shops that can do vinyl headliner installs?

got a stiffy
need i say FKs pooped the bed? if you've got any confusion about coil-overs and "bang for the buck".... shell out a few hundred extra and get the damn club sports by H&R. cris plugged these bad riders in at the house on saturday and i'll never look back. flat turns, quick damping and the front just grips and tucks coming out of turns.. not too harsh either.. a short ride around the block in tony's stinkbug had me sold. if you're still not convinced then come with me up round top before i drop em a bit more.
#3634
nothing beats H&R when it comes to out of the box goodness for suspension
i say it repeatedly, some still go back for cheapness.

H&R has a full variety of coils as well. You can go super low, daily practical and fully adjustable.
But spending $550 and learning your lesson months later is so much fun.

glad you stopped saying FK was the ****..or raceland..etc.
