    be more specific....boost leaks??

Sorry, forgot about that... I'm not sure if it's a boost leak or not, I can hear it for sure when I accelerate, but I haven't noticed any loss of boost... It sounds like it's coming from the passenger side area, I can hear it better when driving by another car or something solid... I opened up the hood and checked it out, but didn't see anything... I don't really have to stuff here at the house to life it up and look underneath, plus even if I did have a jack it's not easy to get one under it

Anyone down for a free photoshoot this weekend? Wifey is coming in on Monday so I am trying to make this weekend go by quickly. You pick the location. Preferably within 30 minutes from Ewa Beach. Check my Flickr in my sig for examples of my previous shoots.

If you live out in Ewa.. I would recommend going to the Ko'olina beach resort over past Kapolei (on H1)!

When I was back on island I use to do photo shoots w/a bunch of the Team member's cars there..The people that worked there were cool about it!

Heres some some the shots I took from around that area..

Sounds good! Just need to PS my car and make it look lower.

I will leave that you added motivation for you to actually drop it

Anyobody with some 2x4s, a jack and jackstands want to give me a hand on Friday? Looks like I will get the time at work tomorrow to get tech done and if all goes well (fingers crossed) the car will be getting it's low on. Unfortunately I will not be getting any of my car goodies until the end of September so i'd rather just wait until then instead of buying.

Even with the past car shows on the island to include HIN being so bleh, I would reccomend checking out the Streetcar Supreme show this weekend. The variety of cars there make this solid event. Heres's the schedule of events BTW:

Bikini contest will be on Friday night.
Cherry Blossom Cabaret and Pin-Up girl contest will be on Saturday night.
Hot Dog eating contest will be on Sunday.

Yeah Jesse and I, the two on the right, were favored to win. We stopped to help the choking guy while the guy on the end was the only one to keep eating through the choker.

18 months in Japan, coming to an end. I'll see you bishes in October.

Took these shots tonight in Yokohama.

No hood up shots, because the salesman was giving me the death stare (you can see his reflection in the hatch shots). Also, no interior shots because it was wrapped in paper and plastic.

    Yokohama at night.

Landmark Tower totally reminds me of Nakatomi Building from Die Hard.

Yeah, it's Japan. If you find yourself down south, there isn't much of a VW presence (service is done through Mazda dealerships). I've seen more Volkswagens in the Yokohama area than anywhere else in Japan.

Anyone have an extra set of 1.8t spark plugs (preferibly BKR7E.) Just got back from driving down the street and I popped a couple missfire codes to find some severely burnt up plugs!

I just changed mine to BKR7EIX. Have you tried the Autoparts? I remember Autozone had plugs for the 1.8t for like $2 each. Gap them correct it and they will last a few thousand miles.

I figured it was too late to call around. Hopefully I find a set in the morning. I looked at my maint logs and I accidently skipped them 3k miles ago These ones are almost 9k old. I'll try and dig around and find some.

Do all gas stations on the island contain an ethanol mix? I know in Washington a majority of them do but a few do carry it without.
