    Well Awesome Day Yesterday !

Cliffs of Insanity was an amazing run. Over 90 Miles of twists and turns at above normal speeds !

My S4 Avant handled the roads like a champion, was able to maneuver around a brand new Saleen Mustang that crashed right in front of me and knocked a ton of boulders into the road for the cars behind us. ( but that is another story in itself )

We cruised up to Bear Mountain, Orange County, NY with the Audi A3 We just built, as well as two of our customers ( one a soon to be APR Stage 3 B7 A4, and a E55 AMG Benz owned by vortex member "Craigo")

The A3 Proved to have two much power for the tight twisty roads, the power-band is more geared towards straight line driving !

It was a blast lots of Euro's there, a hand-full of new RS4's, a few Porsches, and even a couple corvettes. I believe there was around 100+ vehicles that attended !

Feel free to check out the Cliffs of Insanity thread in the Tri-State Forum over on Audizine !

I'll try to get some pics up later this afternoon !

Wanted to take the bike out for probably the last run of the season! Weather was beautiful. The .:R is basically tucked away all year, besides when i wanna take it out on nice weekends and to track events. I don't even think i put 1000 miles on it in the last year. I got a track event this Sunday @ NJMP! But on a day like yesterday, i would of definitely been down to take the .:R out for a Bear Mountain run.

stupid question but where do you acquire the skills to work on brand new MK5 GTI's, high end Porsche's (or any for that matter) and Audi's etc? If I took my 2.5 apart it'd never go back together.

I started rebuilding engines when I was 12 years old when I used to race motocross. As a kid I used to turn wrenches on everyone's dirt bikes and quads... that obviously evolved into automobiles...

    .. and now I'm here

Freddie whats the mileage at in the beast ? If you don't have them already I'd say an upgraded set of sways !

Looks like I have an NSX coming in over the weekend for some service work. The guy who owns it also has a '94 Supra with about 10,000 miles on it and is the original owner, he is looking to sell if anyone is interested !

THIS. Freddie, remember how i told you how i was conering the s**t out of my car this past sun on the cruise....now, remmeber...Pat and JR did my entire suspension not long ago and sways....and keep in mind that my car is out of alignment until i get the tires on my new wheels, i'm running on 16" factory wheels, two tires are bald the 3rd is a different brand and i'm running the spare which has the most tread on it. And my car handled like it was on f**king rails. Imagine if i had my new wheels on??? AND i can still adjust one more time for more stiffness in the rear sway.

upgraded sways > not upgraded sways if you want handling. Glad i spent the $$...well worth it.

...now i just have 5 CEL codes to deal with

A few pics from today !

A set of 3 piece 19x9.5 and 18x8 wheels that were just done for a customers NSX. The lips are colored matched to the vehicle. The NSX will be in the shop for some repair work early this coming week, we can't wait to see what the wheels look like on the car...

Set of OEM BIG BRAKES for a customers Mark 5, should complement the APR Stage 3 we recently installed on his vehicle !

Looks like a new turbo for one of the shop cars ! Should have her running again tonight, will be nice to see how she feels with a freshly re-built transmission!

Thats all for today Folks !
