Another late night here at the shop. We have our buddy John from 20 Squared here installing the Unitronic Ecu Upgrades for the BSH powered A3

.... We are also able to get JR's transmission apart to replace the 1-2 slider + syncro's !

I have a shipment from South Bend Coming tomorrow.

Well look like JR's 02Q needs new 1st and 2nd gears ! I guess all the track passes finally caught up with him !

I'll post some pics of the carnage later today when I pull the gear stack apart !

Well the BSH power'd Audi A3 runs. Hopefully will get it out on the street tonight. I have some start up video but I can't figure out how to make it work... silly cell phone technology

Its going to be a long three days... we have a rally event coming up Sunday have two cars to prep for that as well a few others that will be leaving the shop !

Who likes HUGE OEM Brakes, there going on a Mark 5, everything is out at the powder coater now !

Absolutely, we have the A3 out on the road now and tomorrow we'll be putting a few hundred miles on it at a rally event up in NY.

But so far the car pulls well, smooth idle, and is spiking to about 25 psi

I think one of AFI's manifolds will be making it onto one of our shop cars along with an HTA variant turbocharger.

It's a 30r based kit? The more I think about it the more I should have gone 30r and not journal bearing.

So this past week has been Transmission Rebuild Week ! We had a couple in the shop

One of the 02Q's got a nice Peloquin Differential Unit

Measuring for carrier bearing shim thickness

Differential Shimmed and Installed !

This trans needed completely new 1st and 2nd gear assemblies. All associated Parts for the rebuild

New 1st and 2nd Gears

Gear stack diss-assembled ready for the new gears / syncros to be installed !

... I'll post up more pics of the other trans work later today, JR has more pics !

Yes, it is BSH's FSI Turbo Kit. It runs a GT3076 with a Tial Exhaust housing

Hey guys just wanted to say that the car feels great... the clutch pedal feels like stock (better than before). The 42 DD & FFE bushings make shifting effortless. Thanks again
