Oops, sorry I didn't specify on that and gave you half of the correct answer.
Yes, to use the inserts you would need the early style mount which requires the early style bracket (if you don't have the early style mount already).

Also, no we do not ship to Norway. Only shipping within the United States and Canada.

    Sorry!

Hmmm, my car is a 1989 model. So maybe i qualify for a early mount already?

So how can i obtain a BFI engine mount for my G60 if you dont ship to europe? Do you have any european dealers that sell your stuff? I really need to change my engine mounts since it is a PITA to take off in first gear now

How much more noticeable are the vibrations between stage .5 and 1 on a VR6? Want to place my order this evening, but debating .5 vs stage 1.

Car will only be a DD for a couple months, then go to weekend toy/hpde car status.

There is a noticeable vibration difference between the two. Whether or not the extra vibes are tolerable is different for everyone.

The way I look at it is like this:
    Stage .5 = comfort > performance
    Stage 1 = comfort < performance

Either will outperform the stock mounts by leaps and bounds.
You just need to decide is comfort more important, or performance?

Personally, for a DD and weekend cruiser I'd go with Stage .5

OK. so .5 will withstand the beating that a couple track days a year will put on them?

I also have a question regarding the shore hardness.

I get that the Stage .5 is 60A, and stock 40-45A, but is that for the whole bushing tested as a whole? Or a solid piece from the stock one? (basically, does that 45A rating account for the holes in the stock style or not?)

A couple track days a year should be no problem. We have customer that drive it like they stole it on a daily basis without issue.

The 45A rating does not account for the holes. That would be an entirely different measurement - maybe something like a crush test.

The Stage .5 mounts are not significantly stiffer then the stock mounts, but since there are no holes in the material, the performance increase is significant.

I honestly don't think you would be disappointed with either Stage.

damn, i missed out on a free gift because i was impatient and drove to NGP to buy them?!

ahh well... .5's are softer than i expected. anyone looking for what i would call a stock mount feel with plenty of strength go for the .5's

BTW, I made videos when I was replacing the motor mounts in my corrado with the ones I bought from you.

Here's the first one. The second one is easy enough to find if you're actually watching them.

If you don't want it here just let me know and I'll remove it.
