I actually spent some time workin on my dub today. Changed oil, new front brakes, and rotated tires

I am thinking staggered is a go for me. Might not make it to dustoff tomorrow though. Weather is supposed to suck and I have a long list of things to work on with work and moving in two weeks.

Im happy to see the jetta gettin some love! Hoping to have my own jetta to start givin some love by the end of august. Gotta have something cool before H20.

finally got around to doing my EA pipe delete. car is quieter inside, has less rattles, and is snappier. going to be selling it.

also going to be selling the rear stress bar i won at dustoff.

i orderd an empi pass side axel and 3" maf from gap yesterday at 3pm and it was delivered to my door at 10am. igap

no, the front emblem is painted. don't want to deal with peeling off and re-sticking the rear emblem. might debadge the gti on the hatch though. still undecided.

been doing reseasrch on fuel pumps today and can't decide between autotech or apr. they're the top 2 in terms of overall satisfaction, but the autotech rebuild kit is $150 less than the apr unit. for apr you send them your stock pump and they rebuild it, bench test it, and send it back....the autotech is all DIY. i think i'm competent enough to do the install but the peace of mind of the apr would be nice.....but they're so douchey.

well if the autotech one died you could go back to stock until the warranty repairs are done on the pump

well they say if the hpfp goes, it's a loss for the whole pump since it's just the internals that you replace.

i bought a new daily...a red 96 impreza coupe, 5 speed, 1.8L, awd, uel headers to 2.5" catback exhaust, 215k, sti shift knob and pedals, newer impreza steelies w hub caps, red mud flaps.... i needed better gas mileage than 16-18 mpgs...this should do me good

hoping this is relatively easy...having some inconsistent boost things happening. i'll be boosting fine for a while, then i'll try to give it some and i'll only boost ~15 lbs spike. if i stop the car and reset the tune, it's fine and remains fine for a few days but seems to reset itself again. i noticed this for the 2nd time on the way to dubs in the sand on sunday. i do't think the ecu would forget the tune so i'm not sure what it could be. i might ask bret if he can help me run logs to see if something is up, but i don't have a CEL so i can't seem to put my finger on it. thoughts?
