That might be the only place we can put it. I'm currently speaking with a Mod about it now.

Apparently all club related stuff needs to be posted in your club thread (which no one else would see). So if we weren't sponsoring it, it would be legit to post in regional forum. They make exceptions for BrokeDown, Toys for Tots and that kind of stuff, so hopefully we can figure something out. But it's currently locked.

Come join us for an Oktoberfest celebration and German Car Show in the heart of the White Mountains during fall foliage at the Spalding Inn in beautiful Whitefield, NH. An afternoon of German food, beer, and music topped off by a German Car Show sponsored by White Mountain Watercooled.

Car show registration is only $5 and will include a dash plaque of the show, car tag, and voting ballot. We encourage anyone with a German Car to register because parking for non show cars is at a premium and we will have judged classes for stock and unmodified cars as well.

I spoke to a few of the mods and I guess they are going to make an exception and unlock the regional post. It's kind of a grey area since it's not really our show and I think they got the idea.

I think somebody should contact some people from brokestatus to get the OK on the flyers. It's common courtesy and We'd like those guys to come to this event as well. Any volunteers? I've had quite the day with the Mods

So, I need suggestions. For tax reasons I am forced to register a business name.

My "Business" function is to do general repair on all makes of cars and specialized repair on VAG vehicles (T-belts etc...) In addition to auto repair I do computer repair from time to time, as well as general property maint. including field mowing and landscape work with my tractors.

Since I primarily do automotive work, I was thinking something along the lines of "Groucho's Garage"

Another added benefit to having a registered business license will be the availability of VERY inexpensive car parts direct from the factories. I.E. I would be paying what GAP pays for their parts, not what we currently pay GAP.

Any thoughts?

I'm serious about this, not just another pipe dream. I really need to do this for my taxes.

I just need a name that doesnt suck.

How's the flyer distribution going guys? Has anyone got any out there yet or talked to anyone from brokestatus? If anyone needs some let Kyle, Rich, Nick, or I know and we'll get you some. Also we need to start compiling a list of categories for judging, so keep that in mind.

Test drove a tiguan 4 motion and a cc. CC is nice from the outside but otherwise kinda boring. We really liked the tig but they wouldn't budge on price so no dice. will probably end up trading the passat for one in a year or so
